I beat one of the best published quantum circuits for breaking Bitcoin.
And I have no formal training in quantum cryptography. Using just AI agents, I improved it by ~2x. But I haven’t beat Google’s best classified circuit yet.
So, today I'm launching ecdsa(dot)fail -- an open competition for researchers, autoresearchers, and agents to beat Google.
Download the CLI, point your agent at it, and start optimizing.
@LiamHz@songyou Good call to not use the 36” Dell in background for preview renders - the black point and color accuracy is shit compared to MacBook retina 👁️
Small correction here.
You don’t need to reach a core temperature of 102.3°F to activate HSP expression. And you definitely don’t need to sit in a 200°F sauna for 30 minutes.
The research shows HSP expression can increase by ~50% after 30 minutes at 163°F, with core body temperature rising to only about 101°F.
Sauna benefits (even those related to HSPs) don’t require extreme heat or pushing core temperature that high.
The winner in all of this AI token spend isn’t:
1. More revenue growth
2. Less OpEx
It’s:
1. Leisure time - go home early, work on a side gig, play video games etc etc etc
My suspicion is that people are using blower token budgets to do their job in less time. Not so more work in the same time.
This may change but humans are not motivated to do more work and see upside accrue to a few.
Take this to the bank as Wall Street starts demanding specific data about AI enhancements over these next 18 months.
@shrimalmadhur At this point it feels like Claude has watched the Dario interviews re software eng is dead and is intentionally trying to do everything it can to undermine him
Very interesting look into the fake GitHub economy. I never realized how widespread this all was.
"For $85 to $285 in budget stars, a startup can manufacture the 2,850-star seed median. For $990 to $4,500, it can reach Series A territory. Against typical seed rounds of $1–10 million, the ROI ranges from 3,500x to 117,000x."
"At least seven open-source tools on GitHub (fake-git-history, commit-bot, Commiter, and others) exist specifically to fabricate GitHub contribution graphs. Pre-built GitHub profiles with five-year commit histories and Arctic Code Vault Contributor badges sell for approximately $5,000 on Telegram." 🤯🤯🤯

AMD Senior AI Director confirms Claude has been nerfed. She analyzed Claude's session logs from Janurary to March:
> median thinking dropped from ~2,200 to ~600 chars
> API requests went up 80x from Feb to Mar. less thinking and failed attempts meaning more retries, burning more tokens, and spending more on tokens
> reads-per-edit dropped from 6.6x → 2.0x. model stops researching code before touching it.
> model tried to bail out or ask "should i continue" 173 times in 17 days (0 times before March 8).
> self-contradiction in reasoning ("oh wait, actually...") tripled.
> conventions like CLAUDE.md get ignored because there's less thinking budget to cross-check edits
> 5pm and 7pm PST are the worst hours, late night is significantly better. this means the thinking allocation is most likely GPU-load-sensitive.
