MGNREGA employees in Khanna were peacefully chanting "Satnam Waheguru" while demanding their pending wages. Instead of addressing their legitimate grievances, the Bhagwant Mann government responded with tear gas and a lathi-charge.

Crores of taxpayers' money are being spent on advertisements, while MGNREGA employees are allegedly left waiting for months for the wages they have earned. Shameful and unacceptable.

I respectfully urge Hon’ble CM @pushkardhami Ji & the Uttarakhand administration to address this sensitive matter with fairness, wisdom, and restraint. The religious traditions and sentiments of the Sikh community must be duly respected while ensuring peace and harmony for all. 3/3
Sri Hemkunt Sahib holds immense spiritual and historical significance for the Sikh community. Every year, lakhs of devotees undertake this sacred pilgrimage to seek blessings and connect with the timeless values of faith, sacrifice, and service.

The recent reports from Uttarakhand following the clash between Nihang Singhs and local residents in Karnaprayag are deeply concerning. Equally troubling are reports about the treatment of Sikh pilgrims and the growing unease among devotees travelling to Hemkunr Sahib. 2/3
To maintain public trust, the video must be examined by an independent international forensic lab.
If genuine, accountability must follow; if fake or manipulated, strict legal action should be taken. Only an independent probe can establish the truth beyond doubt. 3/3
Sri Akal Takht Sahib is the supreme Sikh temporal authority and is deeply respected worldwide. Any public disagreement between Jathedar Akal Takht Sahib and CM Punjab is a serious concern and should be handled with wisdom and restraint. 1/3
The viral video allegedly linked with CM Bhagwant Mann has raised important questions that cannot be settled through political statements or social media debate. It needs a fair and impartial approach. 2/3
If the state cannot guarantee the life and liberty of its diaspora, rhetoric around investment and global trust falls flat.
@BhagwantMann & @DGPPunjabPolice must act swiftly on Surbhi Sharma’s plea.

The disappearance of Australian citizen Sunil Sharma (66) in Amritsar is a deeply disturbing breakdown of law and order. Visiting to sell property, his sudden absence points to a dangerous land mafia nexus.

I strongly condemn the Centre’s assault on Punjab’s water sovereignty. The amendment just notified to the BBMB recruitment rules opens the critical posts of Member (Irrigation) and Member (Power) to officers from non-stakeholder states. This is a calculated move to erode Punjab’s effective control over the Bhakra-Beas Management Board and its waters.
This fits a clear and dangerous pattern of centralisation. The 2021 Dam Safety Act has already expanded Union dominance over dams located in Punjab. Now, by diluting the composition of the BBMB, the Centre seeks to shift decision-making power away from Punjab’s own institutions.
The @AAPPunjab government’s silence and complete lack of action under Bhagwant Mann raise serious questions about its intentions. The Punjab government must immediately reach out to all concerned stakeholders, prepare a concrete action plan, and approach the Supreme Court to protect our sacred water rights.
For the past several days, Punjab has been facing severe weather conditions. Untimely rainfall has caused heavy damage to crops standing in farmers’ fields. Crops that were prepared with months of hard work have been destroyed within moments. For many families, these crops were their only source of income, and now they have been pushed into serious financial difficulty.
The sad part is that instead of providing real help on the ground, those in power are still limited to hollow promises and statements.
I urge both the Central (@PMOIndia) and State (@PbGovtIndia) governments to not just make statements, but to quickly assess the ground situation and provide immediate and proper compensation to the farmers affected by this natural disaster.
@BhagwantMann
Is working honestly in Punjab now a crime ?
The death of Dr. Hardeep Singh Randhawa is not just a suicide—it appears to be the “killing of an honest officer by the system.” A system that crushes those who speak the truth and rewards those who bow before lies.
He was a young man who had every opportunity to settle abroad, but he chose his own land. He dedicated his education, talent, and life to serving Punjab. But his honesty came into conflict with a greedy and ruthless system.
In his last video, he clearly explained how he was pressured to favor a tender for a minister’s family, was physically assaulted, and was forced at gunpoint to record a false statement. This is not just corruption—it is a clear abuse of power.
Registering an FIR or asking for a resignation is not justice. It is just an attempt to cover up the failure of the system. A son, a family’s support, and an honest officer cannot be brought back.
I demand that this case be handed over to an independent investigation agency, and that all those responsible, including the minister, be arrested immediately. If the government truly believes in justice, it must prove it through action, not just words.
Today, every honest officer in Punjab is living in fear. Every truthful person is forced to think—will honesty become their biggest mistake ?
This is not just the fight of one officer. It is a fight between truth and lies, between justice and injustice. And if we stay silent today, tomorrow there may be no one left to speak the truth.
Heartiest #Congratulations to Team #India for winning the #ICC Men's #T20 World Cup and scripting yet another golden chapter in the legacy of Indian #Cricket. The whole nation celebrates this proud moment!
For the past several days, tense situations have been developing in several Arab countries. A large number of Punjabi youth are living there for employment and higher education.
I urge the @PMOIndia to take immediate and appropriate measures to ensure their safety and 1/2
