"This is totally unprecedented. This is not like a bankruptcy in 2008. This is not a consolidation. This is us being told that we can't sell vehicles here due to the ICTS 2027 ruling."
Polestar’s U.S. dealer network is facing an unexpected shutdown risk.
Matt Haiken, Dealer Principal and President at Prestige Collection Auto Group, explains how a federal vehicle technology ruling put future U.S. sales in question.

The same behavior from our Seattle politicians as @spencerpratt is describing in Los Angeles. Seattle’s solution is to move people around and hide them in housing while allowing them to do drugs and providing supplies. The cycle needs to stop. Wake up, people!
If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.
@Bhavani_00007 Pro features a better display, better (shockingly good) mics, and much better speakers. I haven’t priced lately but if the delta is $200-300 then get the Pro. That’s what it was when I bought my M4 with Pro chip. That said I’m envious of Airs b/c they’re so elegant. 😏
@THErealDVORAK This is a lack of understanding of how things work. Her car comes with software that starts her car via App. The App needs connectivity, therefore she (and everyone else with connected cars) need to pay for the cellular connection.
Remote start from key fob, no subscription.
@GovPressOffice “9% drop” is real, but it’s a count of unsheltered homelessness in **reporting areas** not total homelessness. That likely means roughly 8,000 fewer people counted outside, it’s a snapshot, not reality.

This makes me so freaking happy. It's @daringfireball's review of "Apple: The First 50 Years."
"The book is nothing short of an instant classic —just a remarkable, essential, and unique work."

@Sidewalk_Steve I'm not too bright but why is the Pediatrics Academy making a video about adult situations, featuring an adult patient actor, if this is truly made by them?
I'm starting to think OpenAI is falling behind. Something's changed with the way it interprets and contextualizes. It can't help itself slopping all over, either, even after asking it to be pithy.
I think I'll start calling it Sloppy Jai.
Amazon is selling "Apple: The First 50 Years" (now a New York Times bestseller) for 25% off—which, on a $50 full-color book, really helps. Interestingly, Amazon also sent refunds to everyone who'd paid full price earlier.

Many of you have asked what I've been up to. Here it is...
Dealers are getting squeezed. Buyers are getting misled. I built the exit.
