Australia is not a free country.
These 3 courageous people can prove it to you.
The simple fact is their legal trials impact ALL OF US.
1. Sall Gover
2. Kirralie Smith
3. Lyle Shelton
All being taken to court for expressing biological facts about men & women, concerns about sexualisation of children & women’s safety & fairness in sport when playing against biological men.
Our freedom of Speech has been stripped. We can’t even state the obvious anymore??
Enough is enough.
DRAG QUEEN FREE SPEECH CASE UPDATE FROM LYLE SHELTON
After six years of litigation, I’ve suffered a significant setback in the drag queen vilification case brought against me for speaking out about child protection.
Many supporters will remember that in 2023 I was exonerated by the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. But the drag queens immediately appealed.
Last week the appeal tribunal handed down its decision, setting aside the earlier ruling. That means I must now return to court.
The alternative would be to allow free speech to be trampled—not just mine, but that of other Australians.
My case had already set an important precedent that helped secure other free speech victories. The activists pursuing this case, backed by taxpayer-funded lawyers, have relentlessly pursued me.
This decision means the case will now move into its seventh year of litigation.
While deeply disappointing, it is important to note that the appeal ruling makes no findings against me.
But make no mistake: the activists behind this case want to punish and silence those who question their ideology.
This saga began in 2020 when I wrote several blog posts criticising a Drag Queen Story Time event held at a Brisbane City Council library.
My concern then—as now—was child protection.
I believe children should not be exposed to sexualised role models or to gender-fluid ideology at such a young age.
In my blog posts, I reproduced material taken from the drag performers’ own public social media accounts (see below).
Some of that material promoted gender-fluid ideology and its lifelong consequences. Some simply reflected the worldview commonly promoted by LGBTQIA+ drag culture.
I've posted some of this material here - not to be gratuitous, but to simply bring to awareness about the character of the role models LGBTQA+ political activists want your children exposed to.
My articles questioned whether activists promoting radical gender ideology and sexual expression were appropriate role models for children.
Those posts triggered complaints that have entangled me in this long-running legal battle.
Australia’s anti-discrimination and anti-vilification laws—often described as “hate speech laws”—are deeply flawed.
They allow the process itself to become the punishment, dragging people through years of costly litigation simply for expressing views on matters of public interest.
The chilling effect is obvious. Many Australians now remain silent on controversial issues for fear of being hauled before a tribunal.
After six years of legal proceedings, I have now received two completely different judgments. If courts themselves cannot agree on the legal standard, how can ordinary Australians possibly know where the line is?
This case is about far more than me. It goes to the heart of whether Australians remain free to raise concerns about child protection and other contested cultural issues without facing years in court.
I want to thank my lawyer John Steenhof and his outstanding team at the Human Rights Law Alliance, along with other lawyers who have generously supported my defence.
I am also deeply grateful to those who have donated to help cover the enormous legal costs.
Like most Australians, my family does not have the resources to fund prolonged litigation. Unlike my opponents, my legal team receives no taxpayer support.
Next month Australians will gather on Anzac Day to honour those who fought and died for our freedoms.
Our political leaders should reflect on why they are presiding over laws that undermine those very freedoms.
I am not alone in facing legal threats for speaking out. Sall Grover, Kirralie Smith, Jasmine Sussex and Dr Jillian Spencer are among others who have been dragged into legal battles under these flawed laws.
None of us who grew up in this great country expected our political class to abandon free speech so easily.
My message to politicians who refuse to repeal these laws is simple:
If you will not defend our freedoms, please don’t go to Anzac Day ceremonies and pretend to honour those who did.
A final note: This case is likely to run for many more years. If you would like to contribute to my legal defence, you can make a donation to my lawyers - the Human Rights Law Alliance. I'm grateful to so many of you have already contributed. God bless.
Teacher Sacked for Telling a Muslim Student that England was a Christian Country
By James Macpherson
A teacher in the UK has been banned from working with children after telling a Muslim student that England was a Christian country.
King Charles is still head of the Church of England — at least until Buckingham Palace replaces it with the Department of Interfaith Harmony — but that minor detail didn’t save him.
The irony is that had he announced England wasn’t a Christian country but a proudly emerging Islamic emirate, he’d probably have been nominated for Teacher of the Year and given a diversity award.
Like I always say, if you want to upset a conservative, tell them a lie. If you want to upset a progressive, tell them the truth. But I digress.
The teacher made the comment while admonishing a group of Muslim students for using bathroom washbasins for ritual feet washing.
He pointed out that if they wanted to follow Islamic traditions there was a Muslim school down the road.
Three Muslim children filed written complaints against him.
Amazing. Imagine being offended in Saudi Arabia if you were told it was a Muslim country.
The three complaints were examined by nine people — the local safeguarding officer who is responsible for child safety, a detective sergeant from the child abuse investigation team, two social workers, an HR adviser and the school’s headteacher.
The teacher was then sacked for stating a fact about England, in England.
Fortunately, King Charles, as defender of the faith, came to the teacher’s aid.
I’m joking.
King Charles was likely too busy packaging up dates for Ramadan to even notice that someone was being persecuted for pointing out the existence of his own job title.
The teacher succeeded in appealing the ban, without the King’s help, and is now working part-time at another school where I imagine he keeps his religious observations locked away like state secrets.
What this story really highlights is that anyone who doesn’t robotically repeat the government’s left-wing agenda is likely to be subject to a kind of Gestapo thuggery.
In the UK your colour and ethnicity seems to matter only if you are a Muslim. The moment you say you are a practising Christian, the fake mask of tolerance quickly falls away.
The reason is simple… Christianity offends Sir Keir Starmer’s pet potential voters.
All of this raises the question as to whether the English are prepared to tolerate this kind of extreme government sponsored abuse of citizens. I hope not.
A nation that forgets what it is eventually discovers it no longer exists.
In the meantime, if Brits want to keep their country, they should get back to church. Not that the Church of England is going to be much help, I’m afraid.
With today’s clergy, you’ll only hear of the horrors imposed on innocent peoples by evil colonialist Christians. You’ll also get trans love, net zero and every other tenet of the zealous left.
Much better to pray silently (in towns where that is still allowed).

In today’s Australian Peta Credlin makes these points:
“Radical Islamism is the challenge of our times.”
“…..a growing Muslim population unable to leave their hatreds behind are a challenge to the character of our society – not because Muslims are inherently bad people but because their religion is very hard to reconcile with the pluralism and individualism that have long been at the heart of the West.”
“If Muslims are to be good citizens in a country like Australia, they must face up to the evil that has been done in the name of their faith – in the same way, I suppose, that Catholics like me have had to face up to and disown the epidemic of clerical sex abuse. Because it wasn’t Jews who flew planes into the World Trade Centre and killed almost 3000 people. It wasn’t Christian suicide bombers in 2005 who blew up the London Underground, killing 52. It isn’t Buddhists who have murdered 7000 Christians in Nigeria this year alone. Or cut the throats of priests saying mass in France. Or murdered journalists over a cartoon. Or abducted schoolgirls because females getting an education so offended Boko Haram. Or burnt alive a Jordanian pilot in an Islamic State cage. Or bombed nightclubs in Bali, killing 202 including – as we know – 88 Australians.”
“We still have a small window of time to learn from their (other Western countries’) mistakes; and most critically, their denial of what was happening and their silencing of anyone speaking out.”
“Labor….is ambivalent about our history and wants to dilute our core Anglo-Celtic culture; and the Coalition… is frightened of being labelled “racist” or (is afraid of) …. losing the votes of migrants despite the fact most migrants want people to come here ‘the right way’ and to do ‘the right thing’ once here.”
Credlin goes on to say that Andrew Hastie’s move to the backbench so he can be free to speak about mass migration is more than a struggle for the soul of the Liberal Party (which it is), it is “a struggle for the soul of Australia, because if we continue on the present policy trajectory we will soon be a very different country”.
Digital ID has nothing to do with immigration, just think critically for 3 seconds.
Britain currently has up to 1 million illegal immigrants. Many, if not most, are known to the authorities. And yet they're still here. The reason they're here is NOT that we can't identify them (the problem Digital ID is supposed to solve), the problem is that we won't deport them even when we know who they are.
This is not about immigration, it's about building CONTROL INFRASTRUCTURE. It's why Blair tried and failed to push them through 20 years ago.
Imagine that governments which routinely arrest people for jokes and memes, locked people in their homes during COVID and think half the country is "far right" have these tools at its disposal.
And, some of you are convinced half the country really is "far right" and are about to elect that evil fascist Herr Farage. You want him to have this control infrastructure at his disposal?
This needs to be opposed by everyone across the political spectrum. It has nothing to do with what you're being told: Starmer is lying to you and so are his media lackeys.
President Trump calls for protection for the most persecuted religion in the world: Christianity.
"Let us protect religious liberty, including for the most persecuted religion on the planet today, it's called Christianity.” ✝️
We must be honest about the viability of the renewables rollout.
Not a single company has backed a new wind farm this year, costs are blowing out, and communities are raising legitimate concerns about the impact on their land.
It is reckless to gamble Australia’s future on an agenda so manifestly untenable.
The White House just posted an emotional and extremely powerful video honoring Charlie Kirk:
"It's bigger than you, remember that... It's bigger than me. You’re here to make somebody’s life better, the pursuit of liberty & freedom."
2nd Timothy, 3:
“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”
It's not too soon to say it: Charlie Kirk is a martyr. He was killed for his faith in Jesus, which was behind EVERYTHING he believed politically & otherwise. We must all know that. He wasn't merely a political activist. It all came out of his faith in Jesus Christ. TURN TO JESUS.
As I said 18 hours ago on my radio podcast, i think it is appropriate to say it again as i turn off my light and go to sleep for a few hours before we meet again: “ In the end, history is not written by those who whisper in safety. ”. We lost a great man in #CharlieKirk today. He never whispered. He knew what was true and never compromised that truth out of fear. Make a commitment with me tonight: NEITHER WILL I.
