@17ccoys Very different qualities as players, I can see that Neco fits the De Zerbi style better than Djed. There were always going to be some painful sales. It is fine with me as long as Spurs stick with this coach and this plan. Neco is a really underrated player.
@luka_thfc I think we've been exploring options. At a guess, I'd say Spurs were looking at Rogers, clearly appears set for Arsenal, but reckon we were waiting to see if we could swoop in. No public info on it as we wouldn't want it to appear like an Eze situation from last year.
@ben_bowman_ Too many idiots get airtime these days. Who is this guy to have an opinion on Djed, the only irrelevant person here is the one whose mouth won't stop moving
@HACKETTREF Manufactured contact, he is getting himself between player and ball. All young forwards taught exactly that to shield the ball. Nothing Bobb can do, but there is contact and nothing clear and obvious to overturn the on-field decision.
Lucky to escape a yellow comment ridiculous
@BBCSport The referee incorrectly applied the mistaken identity rule, as it shouldn't then be transferred to an opposing player, however what the hell was Embolo doing when already on a yellow, madness.
@tottenhamboy619 If it's £70-80m, then he goes to PSG or Arsenal, as they stump up that amount. The rest is the cost of us being poor over the last few seasons and spending inefficiently. To get the players we want above other clubs with Europe to offer is going to cost us.
@WhatTheForkAVFC If you can't see/understand why the rules are in place, the causes behind it and why clubs like Spurs are actually a bit of a blueprint for sustainability within those rules, then that is a you problem.
To call the rules outdated because Spurs are benefitting is just odd.
@HotspurLane It is a funny narrative, we've signed 6, technically we've also got rid of 7 already. Palhinha and Muani expired loans, Bissouma end of contract, Dragusin to Fiorentina, Vuskovic to Brighton, Device to Preston and Veliz to Bahia. 3 were not amongst the first team last year.
@AdamRichman No, nothing justifies that price, however Kroupi is an excellent player with a massive ceiling. I said at the end of the season he would be a player to go for, there is a reason PSG are after him. I think he would do well for Spurs and Spurs would do well for him.
