Jesus did not come to teach us how to live our best life.
He came to reveal how to live the blessed life—
the God-life, breathed and burning within us.
Jesus did not come to polish our lives to perfection.
He came to pierce our lives with resurrection.
Not to make us better,
but to make us new.

Pentecost teaches us that God is not content to simply stand with us—God chooses to dwell within us. God isn't just FOR us. God is WITH us. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ becomes a living reality in each human heart. "Come, Holy Spirit!" or "Veni, Creator Spiritus!"

All candidates are flawed. Platform determines my vote; not personality. Which party aligns most nearly to my convictions? Which will appoint constitutional judges, enforce the law without favor, and protect our sovereignty? These are my concerns as I vote.
Moses spent forty years thinking he was somebody; forty years learning he was nobody; and forty years discovering what God can do with a nobody.”
— D.L. Moody
In a social media addicted culture, posting restraint is a lost virtue. Think before you post. "Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth (fingers); keep watch over the door of my lips (and the post key on my smart device)." Psalm 141:3
Now that we have celebrated the Easter event, will we live as Easter people? Will we practice resurrection daily? Will we open doors every day to new dimensions of life? Will we be the face of grace to a hurting, hurtling, runaway world?
