@seerymk @LatinXChem @SLBCER @Teachforaliving @elonuniversity I think it really helps students who don't like to speak up or are concerned about bothering the instructor. Also, the instructor is always nice and polite, and that helps too.

I think students really liked that they could complete the lab at their own pace, without worrying about running out of time, or about getting bad data. In the VR simulation the TA will redirect them if needed, which is very reassuring.

That could be hard to replicate in person, but maybe smaller lab sections could help. Also, training the TAs to interact more with all students.

From the data that we collected, students seemed to be less confused and frustrated in the virtual reality labs, which makes sense because the virtual TA guides them to complete the labs.
