It is weird to me that sites whose primary function is to find jobs are terrible at actually matching me to appropriate jobs. If I search for Software Engineer I probably don't want job postings for Solutions Architect or Application Engineer.

Saw two police officers arrest a guy at King and Spadina. Police mentioned something about stealing but the level of force exhibited by the Toronto Police was crazy.

The police cruiser pulls up onto the curb, the guy sees this and says "Hell no" and casually walks away, police come out telling him to stop, he continues to try and walk away, police catch up and force him to the ground.

A friend is fund raising to help two families make it out of Gaza. There are lots of stories like these right now. It's sad that it's so costly to make it out of the country, that there isn't more happening to help people escape the destruction wrought by the IDF.

@AirCanada is it possible to update your website to show seat availability for upgrades? I just spent $500 on a premium economy upgrade to find myself sitting in a middle seat and unable to upgrade my wife’s seat since I grabbed the last one 😭

It is weird to me that when I search for jobs on @LinkedIn about 90% of job listings are “promoted” which I assume means companies have paid to force their listing to appear in my search results that definitely do not match my search request
