जिस झंडे से रुतबा चमकाना था, उसी ने पोल खोल दी।

​देहरादून की राजपुर रोड पर एल्लोरा बेकरी के सामने सचिव साहब की सरकारी इनोवा ऐसे अड़ी, मानो सड़क नहीं उनकी निजी पार्किंग हो। अंदर साहब बेकरी का लुत्फ ले रहे थे और बाहर जनता भीषण जाम में हलकान हो रही थी।

​मजेदार बात यह कि जिस 'IAS एसोसिएशन' के झंडे से 'उच्च कोटि का IAS अधिकारी' का रौब झाड़ा जा रहा था, फजीहत के वक्त पहचान का जरिया भी वही बना—क्योंकि पूरे उत्तराखंड में अकेले यही 'सूट-बूट' वाले साहब हैं, जो अपनी गाड़ी पर इस प्रकार का झंडा लगाकर घूमते हैं।

Dear Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan Sir @VPIndia, warm greetings from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. I thought that I will shun all formalities and write directly to you about the immense pain and troubles caused due to VIP movements when you visit our state. I guess this will be true for most places across our country but I will restrict myself to #Dehradun and #Mussoorie.

Before I go any further, I request you to kindly read this report in this morning's Times of India. As you will see, ordinary citizens were highly inconvenienced by your road trip from Dehradun to Mussoorie yesterday, August 20. The question being asked, and suggestion being offered is that you could have used a chopper which could have saved the agony caused to thousands of people. There are several other citizen comments in the enclosed report.

As India transforms, it's vital that all VIPs such as the President, VP, Prime Minister and others down the line reflect on the immense pain caused to ordinary citizens by their visits. Most citizens accord the highest respect to such positions but when it comes to their own suffering; they ask that why should a VIP visit disturb them, their families, their work schedules and their businesses?

I hope that my message reaches you. In case you choose to respond and in fact more importantly if you decide to make some changes in the way your own visits are organized and handled locally, this would be a right, progressive step in the right direction.

Hypocrisy reigns supreme in #Uttarakhand. We are told we have strict land laws. Yet, every Tom, Dick and Harry is on Instagram, promising villas, resorts, airbnb and immense profits. What's going on? Can CM @pushkardhami take centre statge and allay public concerns. Or will double speak reign supreme. I mean say one thing, do another. Or, as always, maintain studued silence and shrug this under the carpet.

चमोली जिले के निवासी विनोद पांडे को उनकी बेटी का आधार कार्ड तुंगेश्वर–माल बजवाड़ मार्ग पर सड़क किनारे पड़ा मिला और जब इस संबंध पोस्टमैन से जबाब पुछा गया तो उनके पास कोई जबाब नहीं था।

वही जब ग्रामीणों ने पोस्टमैन के कमरे का निरीक्षण किया तो वहां तीन से चार बोरियों में बड़ी मात्रा में डाक बंद मिली, जिन्हें लंबे समय से संबंधित लोगों तक नहीं पहुंचाया गया था। फिलहाल तुंगेश्वर पोस्ट ऑफिस में तैनात पोस्टमैन हिमांशु कुमार को निलंबित कर दिया गया है।

Rajiv took up the fight against the mining mafia in the Kalsi, Vikasnagar & Chakrata areas and was suspended yesterday, June 29, 2026 by the Forest Dept. Please join me in demanding that the Uttarakhand government revoke his suspension. We, the people, must speak up for our officers and staff who are victimised by the very state and system they are duty-bound to serve.

Uttarakhand wants to know from its CM Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami @pushkardhami and Forest Minister Shri @SubodhUniyal1 about adequate preparations for the forest fire season in state. Why is it that we never seem to learn lessons and are almost, always ill prepared? Why is it that every year the state talks about the same Sitlakhet model and yet does nothing about it? The people, animals and biodiversity of the state are looking upto you for answers and protection!

VIP कल्चर के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाएं, अपने को सुरक्षित बनाएं:

देहरादून में वर्ष 2025 के दौरान औसतन हर रोज़ 7 VIP के आगमन हुए। सवाल यह है कि इन VIP ड्यूटी के लिए कितने पुलिसकर्मियों की तैनाती की गई, वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की तैयारियों में कितने घंटे खर्च हुए और यदि इतनी बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस बल इस VIP सुरक्षा में न लगाया जाता तो शहर की कानून-व्यवस्था, ट्रैफिक प्रबंधन और आम नागरिकों की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था में कितना अंतर पड़ सकता था। यह अपने आप में एक गंभीर विषय है।

एक जागरूक शहरवासी होने के नाते हमें इस बेलगाम हो चुके VIP कल्चर के सभी पहलुओं की घोर निंदा करते हुए इस पर खुलकर चर्चा करनी चाहिए और बड़े स्तर पर इसके दुष्प्रभावों पर सवाल उठाने चाहिए। यहां मैं प्रधानमंत्री, राष्ट्रपति और उपराष्ट्रपति जैसे संवैधानिक पदों का उल्लेख नहीं कर रहा हूं, बल्कि उन अन्य सभी VIP व्यक्तियों की बात कर रहा हूं जिन्हें हमारी यानी पब्लिक की सुरक्षा को ताक पर रखकर पुलिस सुरक्षा उपलब्ध कराई जाती है।

इसी के साथ जब प्रदेश में पुलिस बल की कमी की बात बार-बार सामने आती है, तब यह आवश्यक हो जाता है कि मंत्रियों, संत्रीयों , जनप्रतिनिधियों और अन्य प्राइवेट लोगों को दी जा रही पुलिस सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को तुरंत बंद या कम किया जाए।

आइए, हम सब मिलकर जिम्मेदारी के साथ इस VIP कल्चर के खिलाफ अपनी मुखर आवाज उठाएं, सरकार का ध्यान इस मुद्दे की ओर आकर्षित करें, पुलिस बल का सहयोग करें और अपने शहर, अपने परिवार तथा स्वयं की सुरक्षा के प्रति सजग भूमिका निभाएं।
