Globally, Pakistanis are writing physical, handwritten letters expressing respectful appeals for clemency for Junaid Jahangir and Salman Raza. These letters testify to the urgency of their plea for reunion, ensuring their voices reach His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (@MohamedBinZayed) and the highest authorities.
In the spirit of the holy days of Hajj—a time of divine mercy and compassion—these letters represent the global community’s collective hope and prayers for their immediate release. We look to His Highness’s renowned grace and the UAE’s noble humanitarian leadership to end this painful separation.
Each letter personally testifies to the pain of this 600-day separation, humanizing the global appeal. By sharing these notes online from our official accounts, we aim to amplify the voices of hundreds of families, friends, and well-wishers who believe in the power of mercy and the healing strength of true leadership.

‘We are not asking for a favor, but the right for Imran Khan, to meet with his family, lawyers, and family physicians. This is a peaceful demand but the government authorities have placed roadblocks, restricting the movement for the large procession.‘ - Atif Khan

PAKISTAN: The unlawful detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters yesterday, who were protesting outside Adiala jail, Rawalpindi, is yet another example of the repression of the right to protest in the country. Among those detained were former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sisters, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khanum, who had gathered outside the Adiala jail premises as part of court-mandated weekly family visits which have been denied since 2 December 2025.
Instead of facilitating lawful visitation, authorities responded with arbitrary detention, tear gas and baton charge. Imran Khan’s sisters and other women protesters were forcibly confined for hours in a closed shop near the jail, while dozens of others were detained in the open air for nearly five hours in torrential rain.
This incident is part of a pattern of targeting PTI supporters and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s family by criminalizing peaceful protest and using sweeping and arbitrary bans through section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as a blanket tool to silence dissent.
Amnesty International urges the Pakistani authorities to immediately end their crackdown on peaceful protests, respect the rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly and ensure unhindered access to court‑mandated family visits for Imran Khan.

May Imran Khan get justice today in Court!
Demand is to shift Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad with full visiting rights to family and personal doctors. Other cases shall be heard soon to for his complete release from jail.

Justice delayed is justice denied. CJ IHC Doggar should have taken a clear decision and allowed PM Imran Khan sahib to be shifted to Shiffa International for his eye treatment by the physicians of his choice. Pakistan's judiciary is shackled. @PTIofficial
Today we came to the Islamabad High Court expecting justice, not excuses. And we're being told that we are in a hurry. Three months and a petition still isn't fixed, what do they call that, if not injustice?
The country's former Prime Minister is sitting in solitary confinement, denied meetings over an eye condition, and we're supposed to stay silent and patient? Is this a joke? @salmanAraja@HRCP87@AJEnglish@amnesty@IHRF_English

Imran Khan has always advocated conflict-resolution through negotiations. Pakistan, the region, and the world needs a statesman and a true leader.

Abducting Hamza & then getting FIR registered against unidentified, proves once again:
“They” are hardened criminals.
“They” are expert abductors.
“They” are paid mercenaries.
“They” are world’s biggest criminal empire disguised in uniform.
