Preparing for government would have been a much better use of time and resources as opposed to indulging in factional warfare to exclude and expel dedicated people all because they held left wing views.
Thank you to all constituents who have been in touch regarding the awful proposal of building an AI Data Centre in Larbert.
I am 100% against this dreadful idea 👇

Changing the Prime Minister won’t be enough, we need to change political direction.
We need to be the real Labour Party in government.
Read our key policies for the next Labour leader in @tribunemagazine

I hope that whomever becomes the next @UKLabour leader realises that having a mass member party is an incredible strength and we should nurture that. People who give up their free time to help the party must be given more of a voice in everything we do.
Sidelining members and trade unions has led to Labour losing touch with local communities and falling support.
Any leadership contest must include members having a say - we need a change of direction not more of the same.
Framing the SNP’s defeat in Aberdeen around its perceived opposition to further North Sea extraction deliberately ignores one crucial point: The Scottish Government’s abject failure to provide an alternative ‘just’ energy transition or industrial strategy. (1/2)
The campaign in Makerfield inspired hope which brought our activists out and defeated the far right.
In Scotland Anas and Jackie have failed to reflect on May and are continuing to trudge us into the death of Scottish Labour. How many more elections are we willing to lose?
Linda is dead on. Her reflection of the meeting is the most accurate account I have seen. Anyone who says otherwise is putting factional interests above the future of the Scottish Labour Party. Anas and Jackie need to go.
Thousands of people to lose their jobs under a smokescreen of public service reform and the new Deputy FM says it’s “really exciting”.
Stronger for Scotland though.
I have submitted a @ScotParl motion honouring East Ayrshire Trades Union Council for their work combatting racism and in particular their efforts to secure a memorial in Cronberry to Jimmy Donald who lost his life fighting fascism in the Spanish Civil War. https://t.co/P190TxXlpk
.@AndyBurnhamGM is absolutely right and we have seen the same disrespect towards former industrial communities in Scotland. The electorate have had enough.
Congratulations to my party colleague and friend @KatySClark who will be one of our Deputy Presiding Officers, the first Labour woman to hold the role since the great @1_elainesmith.
It is my honour to once again be sworn in as your MSP for South Scotland. Thank you to everyone who placed their faith in me and to my party @ScottishLabour, we have lots of work to do for the people of Scotland and will continue to stand up for those who need us most.
Lots of people are asking me what is going on with all the Labour leadership speculation.
So I’ll say it publicly here.
There appears to be an attempt to exploit, for their own ends, Catherine West’s understandable alarm over the catastrophic election results and the dire state the Labour Party is in.
Their aim is to bounce the party into a snap leadership contest limited to people who sat in the Cabinet and stayed silent while this Government carried out the very policies that have done such enormous damage and been a gift to Reform.
Labour cannot renew itself through a stitch-up by those responsible for the crisis we now face, including the danger of a Trump-style government.
Keir must go. But we only get one chance to get this right. So he should set a timetable to stand aside, with a new leader in place by the ends of the year. This would allow for a proper democratic leadership contest with a full range of candidates and a serious debate about how Labour changes course, the policies needed to rebuild support and how we stop Nigel Farage getting the keys to Downing Street.
