Excited to share our research at #AES2024! ๐ Visit our poster, "Impact of epileptogenic zone resection size on seizure-free outcomes in epilepsy surgery: insights from machine learning" ๐ง โจ Poster #2.570, displayed this Sunday. Let's discuss! #EpilepsyResearch#Neuroscience
I'm proud to share our latest paper advancing the evaluation of ML models for epilepsy surgery! Huge congrats to @hrtonova_v, @AnphyLab, and the entire team for this achievement! ๐
๐จ New paper alert! ๐จ
Our framework provides a comprehensive and reliable method for evaluating ML models in epileptogenic zone localization, enhancing precision and clinical relevance.
Advancing AI in epilepsy care! ๐ก๐ง
I will be presenting these results today at #EEC2024, in Raphael room at 12 (epilepsy surgery platform session). Looking forward to the discussion!

๐ Exciting new case study! We've uncovered the electrophysiological signature of rare insulinoma, a condition often mistaken for epilepsy. Dive into our findings and see how this could change diagnosis and treatment paths. #Insulinoma#EpilepsyMisdiagnosis#Neuroscience
I'm proud to share our latest work showing that 5 min of iEEG can achieve similar results in localization of the epileptogenic zone as a model based on long recordings. BUT the segment must be carefully selected, preferably from NREM sleep. Else, it can give inaccurate results!

Trends in biomedical engineering conference - talking about trends in neuroscience as I see them: multi-centric data, long-term recordings, normative mapping and patient specific models @BBEER_lab@FEKT_VUT
Lately, we have seen many new promising SEEG biomarkers of the seizure-onset zone, like HFOs or connectivity. Are they better than good old interictal spikes? Visit the poster presentation at the #IEC2023 in Dublin by Petr Klimes @ptrklms to hear more!
In case you donโt know everything about the human brain, check out this video made by the Open-Science production of the Czech Academy of Sciences. It was fun helping with this project!
