If this goes through we will see less skilled options for our aging population which in turn (I feel) will lead to an increase in depression, opioid dependence and in turn death.

If you know a legislator let them know this is unacceptable! Let them know the consequences!

⭐️⭐️⭐️Here’s where I’m concerned and asking for your help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our aging population benefits tremendously from physical therapy. Movement is medicine and should be the first resort for musculoskeletal problems that arise as we age.

If these cuts are not overturned many clinics will not be able to afford to see Medicare patients. Contracting with Medicare will be an immediate 8% decrease in what we make.

1 in 3 men over the age of 50 will die within 1 year of sustaining a hip fracture. Cutting physical therapy reimbursement will likely contribute to this number growing. Why? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Attn legislators and congressmen and women! In 2021 CMS (Medicare) will be cutting PT reimbursement by 8%. This is after over 17,000 letters were sent to them explaining in 17,000 different ways how this will detrimentally affect our aging population. Example ⬇️⬇️⬇️

@MichelleECollie It’s awful news! I understand writing/tweeting and talking to legislators about how this decision negatively affects their constituents is needed and important but I also like to be prepared if nothing improves...what are you doing in your business now to prepare for the 8% cut?
