Thank you Mayors!! Public Progress has worked to launch and support small-scale supervised consumption services since 2016. These vital services need to be part of the plan to address overdose deaths across the province.

@ChrisSpoke@CityPlanTO Oh yeah. I volunteered with the Lakeshore Planning Council in the 1990s on a mainstreets project. Weโve seen maybe three developments here in long branch since that big step forward.
@DianaCMcNally@fordnation Public Progress worked with Toronto Public Health and Shelter Support Housing Admin (now TSSS) to introduce the first three of those shelter-based consumption treatment services. There was very little community opposition at the time. Quietly saving lives.
