A week long MCS course to be accredited to work on HPs is not sufficient.

It simply certifies attendees understand the safety aspects. It doesn’t make them competent to install or maintain.

My point is that #HeatPumps require a higher standard of technical understanding compared to Natural Gas Boilers.

At present HPs are installed poorly and finding a competent repair engineer is a challenge. P1/2
