It's been a year since I left The Daily Wire. A lot has changed in the country and in the conservative movement in that short amount of time.
But America isn't over, and the politics of anger and despair do not have to win.
The future belongs to those who build it.
Time to get back to work.
The issue before is now is very simple and clear. There is a large and growing movement of leftwing terrorism in this country. It is well organized and funded. And it is shielded by far-left Democrat judges, prosecutors and attorneys general. The only remedy is to use legitimate state power to dismantle terrorism and terror networks.
The core purpose of the organized terrorist attack on DHS is to reverse, through assault and assassination, the 2024 election mandate to expel the millions of illegal aliens the Biden Administration criminally imported into our cities.
They seek to overturn votes with violence.
Forgiveness and justice are not at odds. Erika courageously forgave her husband’s killer. She never said he shouldn’t be punished severely for his crime. Yes we should forgive those who commit the most heinous acts. We should also arrest, convict, and execute them. Again, these are not at odds.
Charlie Kirk, 31, has been martyred for his faith in Christ and his commonsense conservative activism.
Charlie hated violence — that's why he debated. He believed America's deep cultural and spiritual problems could be resolved by giving a hearing to even the worst ideas and persuading people with the truth.
What Charlie was up against is a demonic worldview that seeks the death of children before they exit the womb, the poisoning of their minds, the mutilation of their bodies, and the destruction of their souls.
It's a worldview that divides people by race, enrages them with grievance, glorifies sexual deviancy and wages war on the God in whose image we are made.
In short order, Marxism has become the hegemonic worldview of the West. Charlie saw that, and he opposed it with every breath. That's why they shot him.
But that's not Charlie's legacy. Far more importantly, Charlie loved the truth. He loved Jesus Christ, who died for his sins and secured him everlasting life. He loved his family. He loved the people with whom he disagreed. And he loved his country enough to dedicate his life to its renewal.
Pray for Charlie's widow, Erika, and his two young children who will now grow up without a dad.
The blood of martyrs is seed. Today, many Marxists — including in the media — are dancing on Charlie's grave. But a generation of young men raised on misandry and nihilism have had enough.
They are rediscovering the Christianity of their forebears as the anchor for their personal identity, the means by which their civilisation can be restored, and the source of eternal hope that will outlast this world. Vast hordes of them will now follow in Charlie's footsteps.
Today is an incredible tragedy. But it's also a turning point.
This is possibly the worst Biblical interpretation I’ve ever seen, and that’s really saying something.
Jesus is not “in the middle” on the murder of children, gender deception, the definition of marriage, or anything else, for that matter. In fact, I seem to remember Him having a particular disdain for the lukewarm.
Rick Warren promoted the vaccine and BLM in 2020 while he was Pastor of Saddleback.
Typical modern preacher - they get mad when you get involved in conservative(biblical) issues, but enthusiastically use the church for secular left wing aims.
Shouldn’t ever be called a “pastor”
For the last decade he’s done serious harm to Christianity and the country.
Now that Trump has won, there needs to be a serious effort to fix the errors in the electoral college that deprived red states of electoral votes they had rightly gained after the 2020 census.
This is not a conspiracy theory. The Biden administration admitted it’s wrong.
