More than 1,700 healthcare workers have been killed in Gaza since October, 2023. https://t.co/LLwKJegMqz. This has impacted the medical complex, the ability of doctors and nurses and hospitals and clinics to supply care. Yet somehow, these heroes have done the impossible and have saved so many lives with minimal support.

The Sameer Project has two medical points, a full staff of doctors and nurses at both, including specialist in physiotherapy, dermatology, orthopedics, a dentist, and most recently we welcomed a neurologist to the team.

This is our medical point at Sawarha Camp, where we are open 24 hours per day to the public. We serve patients who need wound cleaning and re-dressings, the seasonal flu, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal distress, infections, and injuries. This has an immediate and positive impact on the community around the medical point. However, all this requires our community’s assistance.
