@ed800m@kejamieson_@DefenceHQ I think I have to emphasise "the" as "Thee" when using it ahead of HMS. I know that there have been several ships called Bacchante but Thee HMS Bacchante was F 69, the Leander Class Frigate that was my favourite of my Dad's ships.
@guywalters There's also the reaction of disappointment when you flick the channel on and see the scene in the plane at the end just before matey takes a walk out the door and realise you've missed another chance to watch it.
Also pride that you recognised the film within half a second.
@Lucy_Worsley Bread and butter pudding made with marmalade (with or without the sultanas) and cointreau enhanced custard (for soaking and as accompaniment) is worth trying, so yes, extra custard is definitely OK.

If Boris Johnson ever stands as an MP again, I demand all other parties step down from fighting the seat, so he is always known as the bloke who lost to Count Binface.
@salisbot All this arguing about torpedoes aimed at ships has reminded me of a story of a submarine that was suspected to have been hit and sunk by its own side until it surfaced and a big sigh of relief went round.
The guy who told me also told me about "false decking" when storing subs.
@PeterStefanovi2 Well Bradby has written books that suggest a PM might be a Russian asset, so it could be a chance to do more sneaky research in the open, maybe with a few pithy putdowns of BJ's poor writing style.
@bbboatclub Having eaten curry and samosas in Chungking Mansions at various times I was interested in seeing that film when it was shown at the old Cambridge Arts Cinema. The Cantopop version of the Cranberries was just one of the highlights.
@Bobby_Seagull@daveyjose I'm expecting explanations of word association linking Henry Percy, cockfighting and ruling the world. (My Dad was a Spurs fan and dim memories are surfacing.)
