This is such a low hanging fruit, why can’t we do this.

High beam is not needed in city where we travel below 60 kmph. Low beam typically reaches about 50 meters which is sufficient distance at city speeds.
High beam is only needed at high speeds on dark highways. Even then, Dip your lights when you see oncoming traffic so you don't blind them!

She is IAS officer Babita Kaler, needless to say, honest, upright, law abiding and born to serve the people.

Three days ago, a plot owner next to their posh house in Jalandhar had the audacity to dump sand for landfilling on his own plot. Babita and her husband Stephen Kaler, an AAP member, objected to it, leading to a dispute.

During the scuffle, Babita’s PSO, Sukhkaran Singh, shot the plot owner’s brother with his service weapon. Police are now probing whether he fired under pressure or bas yun hi mood kar gaya.

All three have been booked for attempt to murder, causing hurt, and criminal conspiracy. Forget Babita and Stephen, if even the PSO goes to jail, I’ll lose all faith in the divine powers of bureaucracy.

CCTV footage shows BJP MLA Rajeev Singh's goon assaulting Raj Prakash, who didn’t vacate his seat for the MLA.

The irony: the victim hasn’t filed any complaint, probably out of fear or intimidation, but the MLA has filed one against him.

According to the complaint: Raj Prakash was sitting “objectionably.” The MLA approached and made a "vinamrapoorna aagrah" to sit properly. Raj Prakash got angry and began abusing him. The MLA, being a sajjan purush, ignored it and returned to his seat.

Later in Jhansi, the MLA’s 6-7 sahyogis came for a "shishtachar bhent" with the MLA. Seeing them, Raj Prakash got enraged again, abused them too, and attacked them, leading to a scuffle that injured both sides.

No joke or exaggeration. This is the exact complaint made by the MLA. Old, frail, unfit Raj Prakash was able to take on 6–7 sahyogis of the MLA because he had learned Judo, Jiu-jitsu, and Aikido from YouTube while the train passed between Babina and Jhansi.
