Werte Abgeordnete,

das EU-Parlament entscheidet morgen über die #Chatkontrolle, obwohl die Abstimmung nach Geschäftsordnung gar nicht auf die Tagesordnung gedurft hätte.

Hinzu kommt, dass das Europäische Parlament die Massenüberwachung von Chats bereits zweimal abgelehnt hat. Es geht doch nicht an, dass so lange abgestimmt, bis das Ergebnis passt.

Dass nun am letzten Tage vor der Sommerpause abgestimmt werden soll, hat mindestens ein Geschmäckle, wenn man das Wort „manipulativ“ vermeiden will. Denn viele Abgeordnete dürften da bereits auf dem Weg in den Urlaub sein, so dass sich eine gewünschte Zufallsmehrheit pro Chatkontrolle ergeben könnte.

Ich bitte Sie eindringlich: Beteiligen Sie sich nicht an diesem falschen Spiel. Und stimmen Sie gegen die Chatkontrolle. Es sei denn, Sie möchten in der Bevölkerung den Verdruss mit Europa befördern.

Der nächste logische Schritt wäre übrigen eine Postkontrolle, wie wir sie aus diktatorischen Staaten kennen. Wollen Sie dem Vorschub leisten?

the current vote that is happening tomorrow and that the epstein political party is supporting is the restoration of chatcontrol 1.0, which applies to all non-encrypted chats for now on all social media and lets them scan for abuse material (in general this is an excuse to give access to all your facebook and insta and whatever chats without consent to "trusted entities", assume all of those are compromised pretty much)

2.0 is still in negotiation because some countries with a backbone have refused to accept the "blocking" of e2ee and even just the mass indiscriminate scanning but yeah it is "in discussion" and originally they wanted to somehow do that EXCLUDING AL POLITICIANS because of course they would
