There is a very particular flavor of anthropomorphizing technical issues that irks me, as certain word-choices in their narrative form reveals more of a seemingly decoupled agenda, rather than emphasizing technical precision.

For example:

Why use the word "unsanctioned", or "help"? What were the actual codified limits in this sytem?

Where does that come from? Is it because they literally said so and thus it must be true that they _feel concern_?

Again, why say "manipulate"? Is every bit of code a "manipulation of bits"? Arguably so, but an odd way to phrase it.

Where does "hope" come from? They admitting to it by saying "I hope this works!"?

Deliberate? Is every action not deliberate? Or is that a separate personality axes we're now grading code execution on?

Either way, it's interesting work, interesting fiction at times, and of course it's important to The Discourse, but I am a stone-cold-heartless machinist, and cynically find these "stories" to lean more on emotional _manipulation_ than technical due-diligence (though nonzero on the latter, ofc!).
