Fair point. Doesn't matter how you slice it, this is beyond awful. Either a Judge has relied on AI to misquote the law or has been so corrupted by a particular ideology that he misquotes the law.

Discussion now needs to move on to 'which is worse'. I am going with the latter - sloppy laziness is marginally better than active corruption. Neither of course are qualities that should be anywhere in a functioning legal system.
