Israel had weapons like Rampage & Rocks to further reduce the kill-chain cycle-time.
The U.S. however uses subsonic cruise-missiles as kill-chain effectors.
➡️ Weapons like JASSM are hence every good in a sudden-strike scenario, but compared to 🇮🇱 Rampage they cause longer neutralization cycle time afterwards

This is a new situation. Russia faced it in 2022 for the first time. Iran at its highest capacity in 2025 and now Venezuela

In the past weapons like HARM anti-radiation missiles were main SEAD/DEAD asset; not anymore

Based on the most recent imagery available of the Taleghan 2 site (One Atlas, 25 December 2025), the Iranians appear to be about mid-way through constructing a concrete sarcophagus to encase the metal arched roofed facility that we have been tracking. This work is likely in preparation for subsequent burial with earthen material.  Previous observations suggest that the main arch-roofed portion of the facility contains a large cylindrical chamber, possibly for the purpose of internally containing high explosives experiments that could be applicable to nuclear weapons development.  Such activity would be consistent with what previously occurred at this site as part of the AMAD program. The ongoing construction effort is clearly intended to thwart destruction of this probable test facility from aerial bombardment, such as occurred most recently in October 2024. An Institute report will follow shortly.

نشر تنظيم القاعدة في جزيرة العرب، عبر حسابه الإعلامي «الملاحم»، تسجيلًا مصوّرًا تضمّن تهديدات مباشرة لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والقوات الجنوبية في العاصمة عدن، وذلك بعد يوم واحد من سقوط حضرموت بيد قوى محسوبة على جماعة الإخوان، وفق توصيفات متداولة.

ويأتي التسجيل في وقت كانت فيه الإمارات قد سجّلت نجاحات كبرى في مكافحة الإرهاب داخل اليمن، عبر عمليات أمنية وعسكرية أسهمت في تفكيك بنى تنظيم القاعدة وتجفيف مصادر تمويله وتقليص قدرته على الحركة، وهو ما حظي بإشادات وتقارير دولية سابقة.

وبحسب تقييمات أمنية دولية، فإن مخاوف عودة تنظيم القاعدة تبقى واردة في حال حدوث فراغ أمني أو تبدّل موازين السيطرة على الأرض، معتبرةً أن التسجيل الجديد يمثّل مؤشرًا دعائيًا مبكرًا على سعي التنظيم لإعادة التموضع واستثمار التطورات الميدانية الأخيرة.

Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela do not make America safer, stronger, or more affordable.

That Maduro is a brutal, illegitimate dictator does not change the fact that this action was both unlawful and unwise. We’ve seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price.

The American people do not want this, and they are tired of being lied to.

This is not about drugs or democracy. It is about oil and Donald Trump’s desire to play the regional strongman. If he cared about either, he wouldn’t pardon a convicted drug trafficker or sideline Venezuela’s legitimate opposition while pursuing deals with Maduro’s cronies.

The President is putting troops at risk, spending billions, destabilizing a region, and offering no legal authority, no exit plan, and no benefit at home.

America needs leadership whose priorities are lowering costs for working families, enforcing the rule of law, strengthening alliances, and — most importantly — putting the American people first.
