@FBI I feel like this is something that those who are educated about this stuff think everyone should notice and care about. If so, they need to do a better job explaining it and why any of it matters other than my litter robot or Echo may act glitchy sometimes.
The entitlement is beyond crazy!!! All those people standing and she has the audacity to put her foot on another seat! Even if the train was empty, stop putting your feet on seats. EwwwYuuuuck!!!! Wow shame on her for trying to say that man assaulted her. Happy that everyone on the train called her out. • •
@moment_mirthful @CalltoActivism No, that proves only that they haven’t completed their plans for keeping dissenters in check. -protests are labeled “America hating” and coordinated by (now-terrorist) Antifa. Military can use force against Americans to tame the “chaos in the streets.” If you aren’t concerned…
@SubotaiDoubleO9@MaiChrsta@KTAZPatriot@libsoftiktok@netflix The level of confidence y’all have in your baseless opinions would be hilarious if it wasn’t so dangerous and scary. Sadly, the less knowledge people have, the more confident they seem to be that they know and understand everything and that everything is black and white.
@This_Redacted@Mr_Sandwhichs@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix ROFL. I have no desire to argue. I simply answered a question. Not every question can be answered in 140 characters. But if that’s the limit of your attention span and comprehension capacity it explains a lot.
Plus you’re likely just happy being a dick and shit-stirring.
@This_Redacted@Mr_Sandwhichs@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix What the fuck does it matter to me? If they want to be called Tree and not be looked in the eye or spoken directly to, ok.
If I was an arborist and “Tree” called with a medical issue, I’d be respectful but refer them to a doctor that can help trees with human organs inside.
@This_Redacted@Mr_Sandwhichs@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix Fine. Since this apparently is as illogical to me as y’all seem to think gender dysphoria is, I guess it’s a good example. If an adult told me they identified as a tree, EVEN THOUGH I THOUGHT THAT WAS STUPID I would *ask* them what that means, how they’d like to be addressed, etc
@This_Redacted@Mr_Sandwhichs@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix If they bizarrely freaked out and insisted they were a tree and not a person, I would be concerned. I would have a therapist talk to them, work to find out if something had happened that made them not want to be a person anymore. I would NOT ridicule them or tell them to shut up
@This_Redacted@Mr_Sandwhichs@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix If a child told me they weren’t a person, they were a tree, I would take it as a teaching opportunity. eg “Well, what do you think makes a tree a tree?” “Trees don’t have mouths, they get their nutrition from the sun and by absorbing through their roots.”
@big_motiv8@This_Redacted@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix You read the literature, you educate yourself, talk to people who have experienced similar things. You ask the doctors and therapists for guidance on how to best handle the situation in a way that will ensure your child continues to feel loved and supported & won’t cause harm.
@big_motiv8@This_Redacted@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix If your child has severe mental distress about something, anything, you are a shitty parent & a shitty person if you dismiss it and shame them for it, whether it’s a phobia, bullying, abuse, gender dysphoria, whatever. You take them to psychologists, you get them help
@big_motiv8@This_Redacted@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix Again, y’all know NOTHING about what it’s like to be in this situation and how to deal with it. There is no one no where that recommends that if your kid says once “i don’t want to be a girl; im a boy” that you immediately change their name and start hormone therapy
@big_motiv8@This_Redacted@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix A child knows what has happened to them. They know the thoughts in their mind, even if they are contradictory, illogical or confusing. They know how they feel, even if they don’t have the words to articulate it. And they know who it feels safe to trust.
@This_Redacted@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix You are not in a position to know what is objectively true about another person’s lived experience. Just because it doesn’t make sense to you does not make it objectively false. And when you tell someone that their experience is invalid and didn’t happen, it’s gaslighting
@Mr_Sandwhichs@This_Redacted@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix That example is overly reductive. A tree is not a human being. What would it mean to “identify as a tree?” Trees don’t have the self awareness to “identify”. To “treat someone as a tree” would involve taking liberties to climb on them, chop parts of them off with an axe.
@JohnnyOfSparta@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix Nothing says unconditional love like dismissing your child as delusional when she tries to talk with you about a difficult & vulnerable emotional struggle she’s having as she grows and learns who she is as a person. Bonus points for equating it with wanting to be a unicorn.
@This_Redacted@MaiChrsta@libsoftiktok@netflix Y’all can’t seriously be this obtuse. It’s not about “pretending.” It’s about LISTENING when someone tells us who they are. Labeling someone else’s experience as delusional/confused/crazy/lying is also known as: “gaslighting” and is a well recognized form of mental abuse.
