Latest holiday #STEM project - @microbit_edu temperature data logging using wireless sensors (more microbits!). Also, check out the LCD screen I just picked up from @smalldevices - I look forward to some more time playing with these...
Dr. Grant Pusey @puseyscience designed these fantastic little 3D printed chemistry ion blocks for his science class and has made them available on Thingiverse for anybody who would like to print a set of their own. #chemistryclass#scienceteacher

Looking for something to do? I made a quick physics-themed video game with @scienceninjagal in a game jam over the weekend to celebrate the start of National Science Week. Enjoy!
@DrJeffWiener Thanks for a wonderful once in a lifetime program @DrJeffWiener. I have had some wonderful PDs but #HST2022 has certainly topped them. The program is rich and you really being the experience to life. I hope to see you and visit @CERN again soon!
The second half of the #HST2022 was full of visits - mountains, data, antimatter and neutrinos explored. Today we concluded with our study group presentations. We've all had an unforgettable and amazing two weeks at @CERN. Now to prepare for the long flights home! @ANSTO
Australian teachers represent! @MissKDove and I had another fantastic day at the international #HST2022 with a visit to @CERN's anti-proton ring at the antimatter factory. What a day! @ANSTO
Finished our first week at @CERN#HST2022 with a cloud chamber workshop, visit to @CMSExperiment and a weekend ride through the Swiss/French countryside, around the LHC loop, followed by cheese fondue! @ANSTO
Lecture of the day (possibly the week) at @CERN#HST2022 goes to @claranellist for an info-packed presentation on particle detectors. Fitting her own research into the broader engineering challenges of the #LHC was exciting to hear about - amazing visuals to! @ANSTO
It has been a busy first few days at the @CERN#HST2022. Seminars and celebrations about the Higgs boson, a cyclotron visit, reaching a new record energy level in the LHC and conducting our very own collision study (ten-pin bowling). So much more to come! @ANSTO
First full day of the @CERN teacher program and so I decided to tackle jet lag with an early morning walk around the campus taking photos of street signs. Will sneek these into my presentations back home! #HST2022@ANSTO
I'm incredibly excited to have been selected and supported by @ANSTO and @CERN to attend the International High School Teacher program in Geneva in just two weeks. I can't wait to visit the Large Hadron Collider - I've spent too long talking about it and now I get to see it!
Churchlands SHS science teacher Dr Grant Pusey has been invited to Switzerland where he will work with scientists, engineers and other physics teachers from across the globe to learn about innovation in physics. 👨🔬🧪⚛️

I designed these awesome little 3D printed chemistry ion blocks for my science class a couple years ago. I had some fun with the etsy store and now all the 3D models are now available on Thingiverse for anybody who would like to print their own - Enjoy!

@faithhope17 It's a variety of projects - There's a submarine, solar powered car (soon to have a 3D printed chassis), 3D printed gearbox and a sundial. All coming together quite nicely!
In other non-election news, our #STEM students have been building some pretty neat stuff this semester. Some very unique projects coming together! Can you guess what they are?
