Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has refused to sign the controversial temple tax bill proposed by the ruling Congress government in the state. The governor called the bill discriminatory and questioned why only temples should be taxed. The bill proposes levying 5-10% charges on temples for the Common Pool Fund managed by ‘Rajya Dharmika Parishath’.

The Congress government of Karnataka has passed a bill to tax on income of Hindu temples.

They didn't include mosques, Churches or any other religious places.

I have seen records of churches where they received more than 100 crores from foreign.

But Congress just love to harass Hindus.

Temples are already in the government's control, so why do they want to put taxation on them?

Temples should be free from the government's interference.
