A huge pothole has formed after a dumper got stuck opposite Rustomjee Bella Gate, Bhandup West. The pothole is filled with water and impossible to judge depth. I’ve placed temporary barriers for safety. Kindly take immediate action. @mybmc@mybmcWardS

Data accessed by HT has revealed that BMC awarded contracts worth ₹42.24 crore to remove and prune dead and dangerous trees across 23 municipal wards from May 2026 to May 2027 to construction and infrastructure contractors – not known for specialised arboriculture or urban forestry.

So many trees & branches fallen on the roads at Dadar, Shivaji Park, Prabhadevi, Wadala, Mahim, Dharavi areas during the sudden "un- predicted" storm that happened a few hours ago.
Mumbai Fire Bridge doing it's best to clear them off.
Lucky it is a Sunday & less people/traffic .
