We introduced the revolutionary poet, Bharathidasan in our previous post. Today, we are introducing Ayn Rand, whose cry for individual liberty and free creative expression is embodied in every aspect of our approach to teaching and learning.

We had an interesting year, rich with inquiry, lots of writing, discourse and art. Super proud of our first learner and can't wait to bring this to a lot more learners. We are getting very close to being ready.

We have also written a bit about why we post these updates. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions or if you'd like an embedded Solvers Club Hub at your school.
We are super happy to share our year end progress with everyone. Please have a look: https://t.co/si0RSGznoy
This year we have diverged from our deep dive into hard math and programming and taken a foray into softer topics that nevertheless involve a fair amount of analysis.

We discuss "Incentives & Attention", an excerpt from one of J. Krishnamurti's talks in our next inspiration. His take on the corrupting influence of incentives plays a vital role in our approach to curriculum design, assessments and even conversations with learners.
Many of his talks and thoughts on education are pleas to remove as much authority from educational environments as possible. With SocratiQ, we believe we have succeeded in envisioning and executing on one such environment.

Happy to introduce Kural. While Puthir implies mystery, we realized the hard way that too much mystery is not a good thing :) We are correcting that this time around by laying out our philosophical foundations and inspirational core as we venture out to bring V2 to life.

As our work matures, we are slowly ramping-up our efforts to bring our research, content and pedagogy to a wider audience. As a pre-cursor, we will be diving deep into our philosophical foundations by introducing our inspirations in no particular order.

Today we present Bharathidasan, the revolutionary poet whose words reverberate in our own and whose ideas are part of the genetic composition of Puthir. We are also opening up our first program, Kural as a dedication to his work and vision.
The roofs are shining from the rain,
The sparrows twitter as they fly,
And with a windy April grace
The little clouds go by.
