Kingpin is now publicly available as a standalone prerelease SDK.

It’s a runtime authority layer for agent/tool systems: allow, deny, constrain, require human review, quarantine, revoke—and keep authority separate from execution.

It includes Memory + SQLite state stores, a runnable example, documented trust/authority boundaries, and a model-agnostic AI-assisted setup guide.

The goal is simple: give developers a separate, inspectable authority layer they can put in front of consequential operations without replacing their existing agent framework.

I was personally attacked twice yesterday on X. Once by someone (who has since deleted his posts) for simply explaining Alaska's ranked-choice voting system, and again by someone who took offense to my joke that if redecorating the Oval Office requires congressional approval, it might actually be easier for a president to order military strikes against a foreign nation.

Neither disagreement needed to become personal, and neither person addressed the actual substance of my comments.
