35 Years ago when we were growing up, it was so rare to hear about deaths.
It was just the elderly who died. They were so old [90 years +] and fragile that their deaths became a celebration of the life they lived on earth.
That is why funerals were like parties.
Occasionally, some died through Road Traffic Accidents, or other forms of intentional or unintentional traumatic injuries, and these deaths were excruciating.
However, it was still so uncommon to have funerals every Saturday because deaths were fewer.
Then came HIV/AIDS in the early 2000s.
But still, funerals were rare, and deaths were consequential.
Yet, despite all these, hospitals were fewer, and so, the deaths were also fewer.
But nowadays,
Deaths are happening daily,
In the villages, every Saturday is a funeral, from January to December.
Why do we have so many deaths today, yet we also have so many hospitals?
It is because 80% of these deaths are associated with metabolic diseases [Cancer, Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart diseases],
The hospitals are complicit. They mislead people, prescribe unnecessary drugs and collect monthly subscriptions from these patients.
Unless we fix our food system, these diseases will continue killing our people as hospitals make profits from them.
Take care of your health because hospitals are running lucrative businesses

A FATHER is the prophet of destiny to his children.
A FATHER sanctifies the mother in a family.
A home without a FATHER is like a tree without roots.

At 18, she has choices.
At 18, you have nothing.
At 25, she looks for love.
At 25, you're chasing goals.
At 30, she slows down.
At 30, you're just getting started.
Dear son,
A woman's life starts at 18. A man's life starts at 30. A woman is born with value. A man is born with no value. She has to protect her value. You have to build your value.
I didn't make the rules, Nature did.
Today, we took enforcement action against the church in Clay City after it failed to comply with a notice we issued a month ago, instructing them to stop causing noise pollution. We visited the church, collected exhibits, and will be arraigning it in court for disturbing the peace and violating noise regulations. We remain committed to protecting the rights of residents to live in a peaceful and healthy environment. @C_NyaKundiH
From Bungoma to Mumias to Kakamega highway,
— no shop had our honourable flag draped at the shop's verandah.
NONE.
National holidays are days of honour and pride.
All shops are to remain closed, without activities in towns.
A few years ago, when everyone was proud of the nation,
National holidays were sacrosanct days of reverence to our forefathers, constitution, ethos, and values.
Citizens observed these national days in their houses with their families while others went to the regional stadium to enjoy the army parade and entertainment and listen to the president's speech read by the regional commissioner or provincial commissioner.
It was a day of honour.
Nowadays,
It is a day like any other.
Carpenters, tailors, welders, shopkeepers, and citizens are busy in their trade.
Traffic police officers are also on the road collecting bribes.
Nobody cares.
Nobody bothers to hear what the president has said.
No flags hanging from buildings.
No joy.
No sense of pride.
The only thing to remind you that it is a national holiday is the closure of government offices.
The politicians and their hirelings appear excited to observe a national holiday.
Yet again, their happiness is gloomy. They don't appear to be confident celebrating a national holiday. They look disturbed.
Politicians have desecrated our collective sense of pride as a nation.
They have tainted our constitution.
They have violated our soul.
They have defiled our ethos and stained our spirit of patriotism.
Unfortunately, nobody tells the president that the entire nation has lost trust in him.
Nobody tells him that the nation has detached from his arrogance and hubris.
The few hirelings close to him keep misleading him while the entire nation drifts away from his grip.
The emperor is naked, and nobody close to him is bold enough to tell him he has lost the entire nation.
Kenyans are saying something.
No politician is listening.
They are tone-deaf.
They are arrogant.
They are rude.
Their day of reckoning is coming.
Listen, or perish.
When you get:
• Broke
• Depressed
• Broken
• Abandoned
Never make the mistake of relying on your siblings and relatives.
They will mock you behind your back.
Fight it out alone.
Fight silently.
Otherwise, the day you climb out, they will remind you how you were a nuisance and a beggar and how they helped you.
So, fight alone.
Fight silently.
You will win.
— and when you win, remain silent.
Don't be boisterous.
Remain humble.
Lose privately, fight privately, win privately.
