@TerasHD@jk_rowling Exactly. Do I know what it means .. yes (thanks to my kids telling me). Have I ever been in a conversation where it's been used ... no.
@jk_rowling Everyone on both sides needs to take a chill pill. It doesn't harm me to call someone by whatever pronouns they prefer. But if I get it wrong and slip up / assume the wrong ones they also need to get over it and politely correct me rather than demand blood.
@FloraSCooper@Ofstednews@Headteacherchat This like like a restaurant refusing a health inspector, or a driver refusing a breath test, or a builder refusing a building inspection.
@DonDon7@royhaywood@Jennyfurfuls You dont want to debate it ... you just want to shout your view. That is your right... but our right is to ignore what you say
@knobbusmaximus @Helen_Chezglen @lucicle@Jennyfurfuls So rather than level up (improve state schools) you want to level down and attack private schools?
@juditradnoti@royhaywood@Jennyfurfuls No. I want my (special needs) kids to have an education without being bullied by other kids and ignored by teachers. Sorry for being so selfish that I give a damm about my kids
@DonDon7@royhaywood@Jennyfurfuls Tax is already paid on parents income (likely at the higher rate). Plus parents are saving the state from having to build schools and pay teachers to educare their children
@royhaywood@Jennyfurfuls Exactly. My parents went without so they could afford the school fees that my 25% scholarship didn't cover, whilst families going to the local state school went on expensive holidays.
