@MartinDowds1 @LadyElizabeth61 Sorry to be negative. My sister moved to a flat and her cat hates it even though she can go outside when allowed occasionally. Just seems so much part of their thing to prowl about outside. Maybe those indoor teddy bear cats really wouldn't care.

Plenty of rescue cats have FIV and can't go outside and no doubt other cats are available that can't. Wouldn't stop one that could.

I tried to find out the % energy lost to inverting DC to ac to supply the charger and rectifying it back to actually charge the battery. Zilch. Is it cost or incompetence/not caring do you think?

@djuric_zlatko Being an infantryman in this day and age is suicidal. The killing technology has far outpaced the defensive technology. This reminds me of the Brits doing repeated waves of frontal attacks against automatic machine guns. You won't see politicians' sons & daughters enlisting.
