🇺🇦 UKRAINE FRONTLINE — October 6, 2026, 07:00 Kyiv time
Updated situation map.
Siversk remains under Russian control.
The key development is on the Lyman axis, where Ukrainian forces have crossed the Zherebets River and, according to our battlefield assessment, liberated Yampolivka — about 9.57 km².
Ukraine is continuing to pressure Russian positions along several sectors of the front.
The frontline is moving. 🇺🇦
🚨 BREAKTHROUGH ON THE KHARKIV BORDER! 🇺🇦💥
In a dramatic counter-advance, Ukrainian forces break through Russian lines near Vovchanski Khutory and reach the Ukraine–Russia state border for the first time in this sector!
Northern Kharkiv Oblast sees rapid movement as Ukrainian troops push forward to seal off the frontier—awaiting official confirmation as the front line moves fast! ⚡️
At the command post of the Third Army Corps, I met with the warriors carrying out Operation Vivaldi. It is a serious operation, important in many ways for our defense overall and for the Donbas in particular. Over its three seasons, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have thwarted Russia’s plans to break through to the rear of the Slovyansk-Kramatorsk urban agglomeration and stabilized the situation in this section of the front. Russia has lost more than 5,000 killed and wounded, and another 250 occupiers have been added to our exchange fund. Since the start of the offensive, Ukraine has regained control of a total of 176 square kilometers of territory. Today, we discussed plans for the fourth season of active operations.
I also spoke with the commanders of the units directly involved in the operation. We discussed their needs in detail, including artillery, as well as compensation. One particularly promising area now is replacing our warriors with ground robotic systems wherever possible. During Vivaldi, this capability allowed us to accomplish many things. We will scale it up so that, more and more often, a drone rather than a warrior carries out the most dangerous tasks at the front.
I presented the warriors with state awards. Thank you for defending Ukraine and for your service!
I’m standing in a downpour in the middle of a golden wheat field in Ukraine.
Right now, Ukrainian farmers are gathering the 2026 harvest: 80 million tons of grain and oilseeds.
That’s roughly 10 kilograms of food for every single person on Earth.
But that food might never reach the world's table.
Russia is systematically bombing Odesa’s ports and civilian cargo ships—deliberately targeting international vessels and American commercial interests.
This is a direct attack on global food security. It fuels inflation in every grocery store worldwide.
Protecting Ukraine’s port infrastructure isn’t charity.
It is defending global economic stability—and keeping the world fed.
I will instruct our intelligence to share with our partners the information we have regarding Russia’s new assistance to the Iranian regime. Since the beginning of July, we have recorded active Russian satellite surveillance of the Gulf states and U.S. military facilities located there. These images subsequently appear in Iran. At the same time, there is a clear correlation between Russia’s satellite imagery of these sites and Iranian strikes – both before the attacks, in preparation for them, and afterward, to assess the damage inflicted.
On July 19 and 20 alone, four air bases fell within the area of interest of Russian satellites – two in Bahrain, one in Jordan, and one in Kuwait. The purpose is clear. None of us in the world should turn a blind eye to one very simple fact: evil always seeks ways to make things worse and spread further. Russia must be stopped. This war must be stopped. Pressure on the aggressor must work.
From the evening address. (3/3)
A Russian woman summed up the interim results of Putin's "special military operation":
"There's no internet, no gasoline, no foreign brands, no foreign investment, no independent media. Our foreign currency reserves are gone, the stock market has crashed, small businesses are shutting down, large businesses are suffering losses, visas are hard to get, and getting a passport is becoming increasingly difficult.
But we do have harsh censorship, political prisoners, daily strikes on Russian territory, fear for the present, fear for the future...
And, of course, greatness."
What has this war revealed, Russians?
1. First.
You turned out to be far less intelligent than you believed yourselves to be.
2. Second.
Putin is not an alien who accidentally landed in Russia. He turned out to be a fairly accurate reflection of a society that, for decades, wanted greatness without responsibility, victories without hard work, respect without dignity, and an empire without paying the price.
3. Third.
You produce very little besides arrogance, fear, lies, hatred, humiliation, and endless explanations of why everyone else is to blame except you.
4. Fourth.
The so-called "second strongest army in the world" turned out not to be the army of the future, but a relic of the past—a television myth and a meat grinder for the poor.
5. Fifth.
There turned out to be fewer decent people than many had hoped. And the most frightening part is not that there are so few of them. The most frightening part is how easily the majority agreed to live alongside crime, as long as they themselves were left alone.
6. Sixth.
Russia's greatest resource is not oil, gas, or missiles. Its greatest resource is the willingness to tolerate any atrocity—as long as it is properly justified on television.
7. Seventh.
The greatest catastrophe is not that the authorities lied. It is that millions of people were willing to buy those lies because the truth would have required them to grow up.
The war has exposed not only a rotten army—it has exposed a country that spent a very long time believing itself to be great because it was afraid to admit its own immaturity.
🇷🇺 Finally! 🔽
“I believe the president should resign.”
Russian journalist Dmitry Borisenko is calling for Putin and the State Duma to resign, saying that, in his view, it is the only way to prevent civil war and the collapse of Russia.
🚨 Rep. Sarah Jacobs just left Pete Hegseth STUNNED in this hearing.
With 2,500 Marines from her district off the coast of Iran and military families calling her office in panic, she asked the question no one else would:
“Do you believe the president is mentally stable enough to be Commander-in-Chief?”
Hegseth deflected hard.
She didn’t flinch.
Then she dropped this:“If you think this is what winning looks like… maybe we should be questioning your mental stability.”
Pure accountability. No notes.
It takes a woman to say what needs to be said when lives and billions of dollars are on the line. This clip is everything.
“We’re isolating Crimea and closing the routes in, not the route out.
The bridge is still standing for one reason: so the occupiers can fuck off.
Tankers are burning. No fuel. No power. No future for russia’s war machine there.”
Commander UAV Forces is just getting started 🚨
❗️❗️❗️🇺🇦🇷🇺The Crimean Bridge has been stripped of its defensive air shield, exposing the highly strategic crossing to a total security vacuum.
Following the 2014 occupation, Russia systematically transformed the Crimean Peninsula into one of the most heavily fortified militarized zones on earth. The Kremlin established a dense, layered air defense network consisting of advanced S-300, S-400, and cutting-edge S-500 anti-aircraft systems, bolstered by dozens of Pantsir-S1 missile-gun complexes and powerful radar installations. In the waters of the Kerch Strait, armed military warships provided an additional maritime security cordon, designed to project an impenetrable "Iron Dome" over the entire region.
However, Ukraine's relentless suppression campaign has shattered this defensive umbrella. A total of 66 Russian air defense components have been completely destroyed across Crimea, including 30 mobile launchers and 36 radar complexes.
Within the immediate vicinity of the Kerch district alone, the Russian military has lost 6 critical radar stations and 5 surface-to-air missile complexes. In a state of growing panic, Russian commanders hastily redeployed a portion of their surviving defense hardware from the bridge's perimeter toward Sevastopol and Simferopol, only for Ukrainian strike drones to track and successfully eliminate them at their new staging grounds.
Today, Crimea’s airspace protection network is effectively paralyzed, allowing Ukrainian long-range drones to transit the peninsula's skies completely unimpeded. Stripped of its multi-layered protective shield, the Kerch Bridge stands entirely isolated, directly exposed to imminent strike packages and awaiting its ultimate destruction.
❗️❗️❗️Ukrainian forces executed a massive, highly coordinated bombardment campaign overnight, targeting the Armyansk district along the occupied left bank of the Kherson region.
The complex joint operation was successfully carried out through the combined assets of Naval Aviation, Naval Unmanned Aviation, the National Guard's (NGU) elite "Lazarus Group," and the 34th "Venom" Unmanned Systems Center of the State Special Communications Service.
The primary target was a sprawling, semi-underground Russian logistics hub containing vital command posts, specialized supply depots, and critical technological systems. To effectively penetrate the hardened, semi-subterranean installations, Ukrainian forces deployed a heavy wave of oversized, high-payload kamikaze drones specifically designed for maximum structural destruction.
According to official statements from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation achieved complete success due to the prior systematic neutralization of Russian air defense networks across the entire sector. While specific operational details remain classified under tight security, Ukrainian commanders confirmed that Russian occupying forces have already sustained heavy casualties, with numerous personnel listed as missing in action, promising that explosive visual evidence from the strike will surface online shortly.
FREYA. This is our Ukrainian anti-ballistic system. This project is an anti-ballistic system that should be an analogue of Patriot in terms of intercepting ballistic targets, but one that is easier to mass-produce and less expensive. This is a European model.
Our first meeting on this topic will take place in France, and it will happen in the near future. Our task was to bring together leaders, companies, and national security advisors – and to present the relevant project to countries that can help Ukraine implement it very quickly. If the leaders, their production capacities, and their companies support FREYA, then FREYA will come to life very soon.
Patriots are number one. We are grateful to the United States and to the Europeans who have helped us with these systems. There is SAMP/T NG – the new generation of French systems. Is it an analogue of Patriot? Yes. And we very much hope that, thanks to our agreements with France, we will receive the corresponding systems.
But with both Patriots and SAMP/T, it is a matter of time. Production is very limited, and the waiting lists are very long. That is why we have started building our own European project called FREYA. I very much count on the success of this project.

🇷🇺 A prominent Russian ultra-nationalist propagandist and host of ROY TV, Maxim Kalashnikov, has suffered a massive public meltdown, openly warning that Ukraine's relentless deep-strike campaign is inflicting a catastrophic "Fuel Tsushima" that will utterly paralyze the Russian Federation and render any future military mobilization impossible.
In a state of total panic, Kalashnikov declared that Ukraine’s long-range forces are systematically choking the Russian state by targeting the entire lifecycle of its energy sector—wiping out not just refineries and oil depots, but vital pipeline pumping stations and transport tankers in the Sea of Azov. According to the pro-war blogger, this total energy blockade is directly bleeding into the broader economy, driving a massive budget deficit, threatening the seizure of personal banking deposits, and cutting off dependent regional allies like Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. The paralyzing fuel crisis has grown so acute that Kalashnikov warned the Kremlin will soon lack the basic logistical capability to even transport or fuel newly mobilized reservists, leaving the military completely grounded.
By invoking "Tsushima," Kalashnikov is using the ultimate historical symbol of absolute, humiliating Russian military ruin—referencing the 1905 naval disaster where the Imperial Russian Fleet was utterly annihilated by Japan. His use of this parallel confirms that the Kremlin's internal elite view the ongoing destruction of their oil and gas infrastructure not as a temporary setback, but as an existential, unfixable systemic collapse that is rapidly bringing Putin's war machine to a dead halt far behind the frontlines.

❗️❗️🇺🇦🇷🇺Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has laid out a historic, multi-tiered defensive strategy that aggressively redefines the global arms landscape, pairing a brutal economic irony with the unveiling of a secret homegrown anti-ballistic system.
Zelensky delivered a staggering rhetorical blow to Moscow, mocking the Kremlin's desperate search for fuel imports as an absolute "historical joke." For a petro-state whose entire modern empire was built on fossil-fuel dominance, being forced to look for external refined fuel after relentless Ukrainian deep-striking campaigns is a profound humiliation.
Zelensky forcefully made it clear that Ukraine hasn't just discussed stopping Russia's energy supply lines—it has already physically forced the Kremlin to its knees on the domestic energy front.
To completely solve its dependency on slow Western defense assembly lines, Zelensky officially unveiled "FREYA"—Ukraine's highly classified, sovereign anti-ballistic missile defense system. Engineered to match the lethal ballistic-interception capabilities of the American Patriot system, FREYA is designed as a more cost-effective "European model" optimized for rapid, high-volume mass production. An elite international summit of national security advisers and defense companies is convening immediately in France to secure the manufacturing backing needed to bring FREYA to life within weeks.
While acknowledging that the U.S. Patriot remains the gold standard of modern air defense, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is also looking toward the next-generation Franco-Italian SAMP/T NG system as a key Patriot equivalent.
However, with Western production lines choked by long waiting lists and limited output, Ukraine refuses to sit idle. By scaling up the domestic FREYA project alongside the localized acquisition of Western shields, Kyiv is establishing a sovereign, unbreachable aerospace fortress that permanently neutralizes Putin's ballistic threats.

🇺🇦🔥🇷🇺The commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, has issued a chilling, taunting warning to the Kremlin following a devastating, highly classified overnight maritime operation that has left Russia's black-market shipping lanes in absolute ruins.
Brovdi openly mocked the Russian military command, publicly questioning whether the Kremlin's desperate attempt to push fuel tankers into occupied Crimea was an act of sheer bravery or unmitigated weakness. The high-profile commander confirmed that Ukraine's advanced naval strike units executed a massive, coordinated night raid directly targeting Russia’s illicit "shadow fleet" in the Sea of Azov, promising that the explosive combat footage and physical aftermath of the strikes would be declassified and published shortly.
Initial intelligence reports indicate that the scale of the maritime ambush was unprecedented, with Ukrainian long-range strike assets successfully hitting and crippling more than 10 Russian oil tankers in a single night. By taking the war directly into the shipping corridors of the Sea of Azov and systematically hunting down Putin's maritime fuel lifelines, Ukraine has effectively cut off the primary supply artery feeding occupied Crimea, leaving the Russian military's southern grouping exposed, starved of fuel, and completely unable to secure its own territorial waters.
🇷🇺🇺🇦Ukraine has officially delivered a stark peace proposal to the Kremlin, giving Putin a final, realistic window to end the war before his entire regime faces total internal collapse.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha confirmed the initiative, stating that the proposal is both realistic and highly doable, but requires Putin to finally accept that he will never achieve his aggressive goals on the battlefield. Ukrainian officials emphasized that this offer is the Kremlin's last remaining exit ramp to preserve its state stability, as Russia’s military and economic systems crawl closer to an unsustainable breaking point.
This diplomatic move signals that Ukraine is now dictating terms strictly from a position of absolute strength. Backed by the systematic destruction of Russia's deep-rear oil and gas infrastructure, Kyiv is turning the tables on Moscow—forcing Putin to either abandon his imperialistic illusions or watch his regime disintegrate under the weight of an un-winnable war.
When our deep strikes were not reaching Moscow and St. Petersburg, Putin did not think much about it. He understood that the war was far from the Kremlin. Of course, once he feels what is happening in Moscow, he will begin to understand what is happening in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions. He’ll begin to grasp the reality of the situation.
When not one hundred drones but a thousand start reaching Moscow, and when he feels it and sees it, he will be advised to move somewhere beyond the Urals. That will be a moment that opens a new chapter on the path toward ending the war. The farther Putin is from Moscow, the closer the end of the war and peace will be.
He fears for his life. And then there are the elites. Where do the Russian elites live? Moscow and St. Petersburg – the two major cities. Those places will be reached, because that is where they make the decisions to kill us.
That is why deep strikes have had, and continue to have, a major impact. We must keep working on this. It is constant, difficult, and daily work. We must all stay focused and energized. The heroes are those on the front line. And all of us, the entire state, must keep carrying shells to them. If we do, we will bring a just and strong peace for Ukraine. That is what victory means for us.
