I’ll say it for him (no idea what livewire is) —
Livewire is SSR/SSG Turing incomplete garbage that relies on P=NP for cryptographically secure guarantees
Hi, so, I messed up.
I made tweets about the Livewire demo making accusations that were unfounded in a tone that was overly aggressive. I have deleted said tweets but I'm not sweeping it under the rug.
I clearly misunderstood what Livewire was actually doing in that snippet. It is much closer to the actual demo that I had previously thought, and it's certainly a very clean way to achieve similar use cases. While my argument about missing features and tradeoffs of SSR still stand, they don't justify my accusation of “make my framework look superior for no reason”. I understand I probably engaged in the kind of behavior I was trying to criticize in the first place.
Yes I am DevRel, I just started last week. I admit I still haven't fully gotten a hang of what that actually means for my public presence, and yesterday was a big reality check. I appreciate every single comment and DM I received about it, even the angry ones, it provided valuable feedback. I will be ongoing some serious reflection and making changes to how I approach Twitter.
