Perfecting Youth Session, widely known as PYS, is a series of inspirational & informative sessions that are designed especially for the upliftment of the youth.

I Am Truly Amazed!

700+ youths from various cities across India came together for 4 days to clean the sacred Palitana Jain Teerth mountain!

What's even more inspiring? Most of these young changemakers are professionals - CAs, Advocates, Engineers, IT experts & more! Many are also avid climbers!

Together, they selflessly picked up a staggering 3000+ kgs of litter, including plastic bags, bottles, and more, restoring the sanctity of this revered site!

A huge salute to these young heroes for their dedication, passion, and commitment to a cleaner, greener India!

જૈન ધર્મનાં પવિત્ર ધામ શ્રી શત્રુંજય ગિરિરાજના પરિસરમાં 700 યુવાનોએ છેલ્લા 19 વર્ષથી સ્વચ્છતાને સંસ્કાર બનાવી 90 ટન જેટલું પ્લાસ્ટિક એકત્ર કરીને પવિત્ર ધામને પ્લાસ્ટિક મુક્ત કરવાનું અભિયાન હાથ ધર્યું છે.

શત્રુંજય ગિરિરાજમાં આવા શ્રેષ્ઠત્તમ કાર્ય બદલ શ્રી સમકિત યુવક મંડળ મુંબઈ અને એ મંડળનાં સૌ સભ્યોને અભિનંદન પાઠવું છું.

આપ સૌએ માનની�� પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઇ મોદી સાહેબનાં સ્વચ્છ ભારતનાં સંકલ્પને સાકાર કરી પ્રેરણાદાયી કાર્ય કર્યું છે. મને વિશ્વાસ છે કે અન્ય યુવાનો પણ આપનાં આ કાર્યમાંથી પ્રેરણા પામશે.

માનનીય પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીએ દેશવાસીઓને તીર્થસ્થાનોની સ્વચ્છતા માટે યોગદાન આપવા આહવાન કર્યું છે, તેને ઝીલી લઈને 500 જેટલા યુવાનોએ ભેગા મળીને સ્વચ્છતાનું એક ખૂબ પ્રેરણાદાયી કાર્ય કર્યું છે.

જૈન સમાજનું અત્યંત પવિત્ર તીર્થક્ષેત્ર એટલે પાલિતાણા – શેત્રુંજય પર્વત, જેના દર્શને દર વર્ષે લાખો શ્રદ્ધાળુઓ આવતા હોય છે. પર્વત પર ફેંકવામાં આવતા પ્લાસ્ટિકની બોટલ્સ, કોથળીઓ, કાગળ જેવા કચરાને દૂર કરવા શ્રી સમકિત યુવક મંડળના યુવાનોએ 25 થી 28 જાન્યુઆરી, એમ ચાર દિવસ સુધી સતત સ્��ચ્છતાનું મહાઅભિયાન હાથ ધર્યું અને અંદાજે ચાર ટનથી વધારે કચરાનો નિકાલ કર્યો.

સ્વચ્છતાના આ કાર્યમાં સ્થાનિક યુવાનોની સાથે મુંબઈથી આવેલા યુવાનો જોડાયા. 500 જેટલા યુવાનોએ સાથે મળીને 1283 બોરી જેટલો કચરો દૂર કર્યો. આ અભિયાન દરમિયાન 7500 જેટલા લોકોએ પર્વત પર કચરો ન નાંખવાના સંકલ્પપત્ર ભર્યા. ગિરિરાજ શેત્રુંજયની પવિત્રતા આ યુવાનોની નિ:સ્વાર્થ મહેનતથી મહેંકી ઉઠી.

વિકસિત ભારતના એમ્બેસેડર સમા આ સૌ યુવાનોને ખૂબ-ખૂબ અભિનંદન પાઠવું છું. જૈનાચાર્ય પૂજ્ય આચાર્ય શ્રી મુક્તિવલ્લભસૂરીશ્વરજી મહારાજ સાહેબ અને પૂજ્ય આચાર્ય શ્રી ઉદયવલ્લભસૂરિશ્વરજી મહારાજ સાહેબે પણ આ કાર્યમાં યુવાનોને સતત પ્રેરણા આપી. તેઓશ્રીની ભાવનાને પણ હું હૃદયપૂર્વક અનુમોદન આપું છું.

રાજશક્તિનો સંકલ્પ, સંતશક્તિનું માર્ગદર્શન અને યુવાશક્તિનો ઉદ્યમ – આ ત્રણનો સંગમ થાય તો રાષ્ટ્રહિતનું કેટલું સુંદર કામ થઈ શકે તેનું ઉદાહરણ આ સ્વચ્છતા અભિયાન છે.

ગુજરાતને સ્વચ્છ, સુંદર અને વિકસિત બનાવવામાં યુવાશક્તિનો આવો જ સહયોગ અવિરત મળતો રહે તેવી અભ્યર્થના વ્યક્ત કરું છું.
