@asianturfgrass Have wondered before regarding verti cuts if I should count or not. We often use pedestrian mowers fitted with grooming units that can take twice as much clipvol as the triple.

@J_Merchant1 Thanks for the reply. very honest and spot on in my opinion. considering revenue gained, would like to see bigga insist on salary expectation in job advert and refuse advertising inappropriately salaried jobs 2nd &3rd,bigga, R&A, PGA more proactive role in educating club to club.

@OakGreenkeeping Hi there, we have a couple of greenkeepers looking to start an online level 3 this year. Is this something you could accommodate ?

@BIGGALtd Probably won't due the expected high numbers of covid which will be in circulation by January. Thought the online option worked well last year. Meant our whole greenkeeping team attended and were able to return to work fit and healthy afterwards.

@kickstart250 @wintersgreen10 R&A 2030 documents maybe a good start. Plenty in there regarding reduction of available resources facing the industry,ie: pesticides, water, aggregates also climate change expectations. Just wish @RandA would make a presentation for golfers. May have more clout coming from them

@Rossco8822 Ah, still working with a toro drop spreader. Can only dream of 6 passes, you lucky, lucky fellow. 🥲 we can all continue to dream of modern equipment. Keep up the good work .

@Rossco8822 Have you trialed disc spreaders at all ? We have similar toro unit, but getting old and it's a lot of passes over each green.

@MinshadDr @Bionema @Rossco8822 @GarethActeson Yes thanks for the information. I was ideally looking for any trial/research papers looking at the results of mass population release of nematodes. I'm guessing a yearly application is required ?

@Bionema @MinshadDr @Rossco8822 @GarethActeson Please don't take this the wrong way, but any chance of a link to a peer reviewed paper regarding mass population release of nematodes, and the numbers thereafter ? We have applied nematodes but curious to know what happens to them next.

@J_Merchant1 Ok thanks, jon. Got the math, will carry on with 6% and adjust with time to suit site I reckon. All looks good until I start thinking about mineralization and atmospheric nitrogen. 🤪. Thanks again, keep up the good work. 👍

@llbgolfsuper69 Tried it a couple of times. Seemed to depend on what units were fitted as to the results. Flat rollers seemed to improve ball roll slightly (visual assessment). Grooved rollers, no noticeable effect. No real change on stimp readings between 1st and 2nd cut, especially with brush.

@J_Merchant1 Ok, cool. What sort of % of N in your clippings do you work on for your greens ? I have read bent clippings have an estimated 6%. I wondered if you used this or a site specific % that you work on from experience.
