As I was watching The Last Jedi I had the following stupid thought: "Jeez, all they do is have space battles in these movies."
...you know, space battles. Star battles. Star wars, as it were.
@DisaffectedPod I only brought enough home for one meal, which I'm about to eat! Past experience has made it known that anything more than one leftover meal is too much for me.
Hear me out: perhaps this guy('s interns) should not be using "fire" in relation to anything he touches since under his watch MULTIPLE CITIES BURNED TO THE GROUND. Anyways, I will be voting no on whatever it is he's wanting. As usual.
It's official. California's special election is ON for November 4th.
The People of California will be able to cast their vote for a Congressional map.
Direct democracy that gives us a fighting chance to STOP Donald Trump's election rigging.
Time to fight fire with fire.
Like I'll never be susceptible to joining a cult because I will just think it's crazy and/or stupid from the beginning. And frankly that's how I feel about a lot of religious stuff.
Asch conformity experiments strike again! ๐คช
Watching Shiny Happy People 2 and that sense of "you cannot be serious" about so much of the evangelical world is exactly how I've always felt about the evangelical church - which I was a part of for 20 years before I just couldn't.
Because so many of these tertiary programs outside the physical footprint of the church are legitimately delulu. Maybe because I'm at heart a loner and someone who is always observing I could never get the performative aspects of modern Christianity.
Hey Target Pleasant Hill @Target if you're going to lock everything up you need to have an employee available to unlock the cabinet. You have lost $$$$ from just me because of this shit. Walmart is so much better at this and I should have just gone there.
@JoshDaws Hamilton's great. I don't even like musicals or Lin Manuel Miranda and I would recommend it. You stop seeing the gimmicky casting/production and get pulled into the story. It's well done. However, I saw it in person, I could not get through the LMM version on D+.
Ding Dong this stupid thing is dead! I was tasked with getting this sorted for the 200+ HOAs we work with, and it's incredibly invasive with HIGHLY exorbitant penalties. Totally gross overreach. A part of me can't even believe this is true but am cautiously optimistic.
The Treasury Department is announcing today that, with respect to the Corporate Transparency Act, not only will it not enforce any penalties or fines associated with the beneficial ownership information reporting rule under the existing regulatory deadlinesโฆ
The Corporate Transparency Act is dumb and confusing. Hopefully the US Senate actually adds the extension date to their calendar and votes to pass because the short timeline to get this completed is absolutely idiotic.
Signed, an unwilling expert on the CTA ๐ญ
@SenAdamSchiff Are you actually this stupid and out of touch? Those of us who live in Supermajority Democrat California have already been experiencing this shit long before Trump took office and you know it
The bill to extend passed the House and now it's in the Senate, for the love of God I hope it passes.
There's a case in TX that is stalling it, hopefully forever hahaha
Having a glorious morning attending a webinar about the Corporate Transparency Act, one of the most stupid government things I've had to deal with to date. I highly encourage Congress to extend the deadline to file until the end of 2025 as it's been extremely disorganized.
