On Sunday @sam_poder led a fun Kaboom Workshop! By closing at 4:00 PM June 13th, PyraHackers created 273 software projects raising $2000 for @StJude!!! Congrats to the winning teams Avengeful Aaryans, Programing Pineapples, & The Nerds! Huge Thank you to all speakers & sponsors!

In an unexpected but awesome turn of events @m_madan_babu & @wufgang stayed on the call to meet the PyraHackers present on the call! This was really cool, & we are so thankful for the passion & experience all the researchers from @StJudeResearch shared with the students today.

@PyraHacks then heard from @wufgang, who discussed his research in constructing computationally reconstruct complex circular chromosomes to better understand tumors. He also gave a very personal testimony to why his incredible life saving research is so meaningful to him.
