@Waltimedes Baby steps? Wuxia two-shot with just two players could be a hell of a lot of fun for a fraction of the anxiety, and then if the thing has momentum....
Today marks ten years since this infographic back page about the Kowloon Walled City was published by South China Morning Post. I explained in a few lectures the ins and outs of this project, and now I will do it here. Long 🧵

@PSHistory@MadameGilflurt@HistoryHit This was a great listen - thanks to @k8_lister for hosting and to @zebrowskaka for creating the video that played on loop in my head while I listened: https://t.co/BoBFNA5EBI
@mechamelissa Ugh, that sucks. Usually I start with the smallest and easiest tasks, knock out as many as I can to trick myself as if I'm feeling like I'm on a roll, and then use that for momentum to get the bigger (first) and then harder (last) stuff done.

@theNatalieAsh@GoblinMixtape I dunno about the "mere" thing. I see my players as guests and myself as the host. Their needs are more important than mine in that formulation.

Fun little procedural hexcrawl for a "find place X somewhere in region Y" season: I generated a stack of ~40 tiles, and then they party took turns (as HP allowed) rolling to be the guide. The better the roll, the more player control. Last tile in the pile was the destination.
