Breaking: Interrogation of Wounded FAK terrorist in Rangers Camp Attack, Karachi

Investigators say new information has emerged from a wounded kharjit linked to the attack on a Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) camp, which was claimed by Jamaat-ul-Ahrar TTP. The kharjit indicated connections to actors based in Afghanistan.

According to the statement attributed to the arrested individual, Usman Ali:
⭕- He identified himself as Usman Ali from Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
⭕- He said he traveled to Pakistan with 3 others: Abdul Hadi, Janan, and Umar Farooq. He claimed Abdul Hadi was killed in the attack.
⭕- He stated that Janan threw a bomb at the Rangers camp.
⭕- The group entered Pakistan 7 days earlier and stayed with Abdul Hadi, described as a resident of Bajaur. They were housed in an under-construction building. The weapons used, he claimed, were brought from Waziristan by Abdul Hadi.
⭕- He said he was shot while trying to flee and fell at the scene.
⭕- He claimed affiliation with Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, and named “Ahrar Maulvi Sahib” as a commander in Afghanistan.
⭕- He said that all of them received training in Afghanistan. He said they were given suicide vests and prepared the devices themselves, with training reportedly provided by someone named Umar Qari in Afghanistan.
⭕- He stated that arrangements for their travel to Karachi were made from Afghanistan, and that Abdul Hadi was familiar with the area from previous visits.

Afghanistan’s territory is being used as a safe haven for khawarij militants to plan operations against Pakistan. Pakistan has previously shared multiple evidences of cross-border terrorism with the Afghan Taliban administration.
