Baloch insurgency began in the tribal regions of Dera Bugti and Kohlu, and later spread to non-tribal areas. So why does the intensity of the insurgency remain low there? Is it due to shifting geopolitical interests?

I often come across the narrative on how the Baloch movement and its leadership has moved from "Tribals to educated Baloch", a narrative that depicts tribal people as inherently uneducated and not ideological supporters of the movement. However, in contrast, figures such as Nawab Bugti, Nawab Marri, Sardar Mengal, Gul Khan Naseer, and Balach Marri along with many of their tribal peers, were all well-educated.
A more accurate narrative would be that the movement has expanded from being driven by a few focused tribes to a broader involvement of many more tribals and non-tribals, with individuals taking initiative.
