@ShibaInulian @shutupakechi@GreatMeme5@SupermanNotso@brycecarringto5 Someone's pronouns have nothing to do with political ideology, neither does being anti-facist. Me being gay also has nothing to do with being communist. I guess I'm assigned communist now
@pitohui87@namenloserspion@brobertphd@NaomiLiiia @CruyffWorld @TransphobicLs@elonmusk Nah, you have no idea what someone's sex is without them telling you or seeing for yourself. Cis women can have deep voices, have prominent facial hair, be tall, have large hands. Cis men can be short, have no Adam's apple, have wide hips, small feet. Etc. Facts over feelings <3
@brobertphd@namenloserspion@NaomiLiiia @CruyffWorld @TransphobicLs@elonmusk It's called progression of science. The point is that things change and evolve. Science is inherently about pursuing more knowledge to understanding the world better. If more people are identifying outside of their sex at birth, this can also be observed and studied
@Bhivansam@brobertphd@NaomiLiiia @CruyffWorld @TransphobicLs@elonmusk The meme states there are more than 2 genders because sex and gender are different. Regardless the debate of if there are 2 sexes or not, it is inaccurate to say there are only 2 genders when gender is a social construct. Yes, sex is biological, no one denies that
@Bhivansam@brobertphd@NaomiLiiia @CruyffWorld @TransphobicLs@elonmusk Could you elaborate? What is science to you? There's a lot of different sciences, such as social science that could contribute to the study of gender vs sex
@zaner500 @KanyeBallsEast @agent__berry @parshniphoney @Honkslime@xaviersonline BMI is highly inaccurate and shouldn't be used the way it is or the way you're referencing it. We can have longer discussions on what's healthy or not, but basing it on BMI is too limited. This itself is on the CDC site where it has the same Calc. as the WHO site
@galluslass @ohnobohdie @WIAW18@ItsChloeNow Gender is a social construct. This doesn't mean it doesn't exist or affect us. Race is a social construct, it's still very prevent in society! If you're concerned by patriarchy (rightly so) why are you focusing on a 1% minority and not the 50% population of men?
