@antifatwa Honestly, I think people are underestimating. Unless you have an annual household income (pre-tax) of £75,000+ you cannot live a comfortable life in London (no roommates, nice place to live in a good area, near a tube station, not a rail/overground or DLR station)

The UAE arrested a U.S. citizen in transit thru Dubai, accusing him of tax evasion *in the US*. UAE claims they did so w/US help which @StateDept denied
