The median Cq value is a robust average, and obviates the need for PCR replicate outlier removal. qbase+ allows you to choose between median or arithmetic mean to calculate average Cq value. https://t.co/aoKimVjJwg

How many qPCR replicates? 1 is ok in large screening where power comes from sample size and individual errors do not affect the outcome https://t.co/DyBJTGSUvp

Adhering to the MIQE guidelines improves your qPCR results and facilitates publication. https://t.co/6TzkIkkQHD

Keep your budget under control by doing qPCR in 15 µl reactions (96-well) or 10 µl reactions (384-well). #qPCR #tip of the day

A final concentration of 250 nM of each #qPCR primer is a good compromise between efficiency, yield and specificity. #qPCR #tip of the day
