@JohnnyDeppaj4p Stop looking and perhaps the right one will appear somewhere in your future. Perhaps enjoy the freedom that solitude brings with it. As a previous comment said maybe you are looking in the wrong place. Leave Hollywood et al and go somewhere quiet without all the razzmatazz
Word has just come down that St. Paul’s Cathedral in London—the second most important church in the Anglican world—has imitated Canterbury Cathedral in permitting “raves,” nightclub-like entertainments, to take place in its confines.
The usual reasons for acquiescing to this have been trotted out: reaching out to the young, trying to get with the times, etc. But this development simply shows that the leadership of the Church of England has lost any sense of the crucial distinction between the sacred and the secular.
Across the centuries and across the cultures, our ancestors seem to have intuitively grasped the importance of this demarcation. Whereas the secular is the arena of ordinary experience and activity, the sacred is another realm, a different dimension.
Accordingly, in the properly sacred space, one is lifted out of the conventional and introduced into the numinous. This is why Christian cathedrals are filled with images of the saints and angels and why their interiors are meant first to disorient us and then to reorient us toward the divine.
It is also why, in the initiation rituals of primal peoples, a young person is purposely ripped out of the ordinary and introduced into the mythic and mystic dimension. And it is why, throughout the Bible, sacred spaces are carefully set apart from common spaces.
The contemporary West is, quite literally, the first culture in human history that is in danger of collapsing the sacred into the secular, or better, losing any sense of the difference between the two.
This is doing enormous damage, especially to young people, whose lives have been flattened into a preoccupation with money, worldly success, and material things.
The Church indeed should go out into the secular space to find those who have wandered away from God, but it should then lead those wanderers back to the holy.
Having “raves” in the nave of one of the most sacred spaces in the Christian world is, I’m sad to say, another sign of our pitiful surrender to ideological secularism.
You’ve probably walked past this plant and had no idea that it could cure bronchitis.
It’s called Mullein leaf.
It’s full of saponins, an organic chemical that thins out your mucus and calms inflammation in your airways. The Greeks and Native Americans used it for centuries because its properties soothe coughs and congestion.
If you want to clear your airways in the most natural way, here's what I would recommend:
- Steep 1–2 tsp of dried leaf for 10–15 min, then strain it through a cloth
- Pair it with honey, lemon
- Or lean over a hot bowl of it with a towel on your head and breathe the steam in
It's gentle, it's something you can take consistently, and you can probably find it growing in a ditch somewhere near you.
🔥 The Floor That Watched a City Die… Frozen Forever in Time 🔥
Hidden beneath layers of ash in Pompeii, this breathtaking mosaic floor still whispers secrets from nearly 2,000 years ago. Inside the House of Paquius Proculus, every tiny stone tells a story—of wealth, beauty… and a life that ended in a single terrifying day.
Look closely. The black-and-white patterns are not just decoration—they are precision, patience, and pride carved into stone. Animals and mythical hunters seem almost alive, as if they were meant to move… until time itself stopped.
At the center lies the impluvium, a quiet pool once filled with rainwater. But now, it reflects something far more haunting—the silence of a home abandoned in an instant.
Then your eyes rise… and the walls glow with deep “Pompeian Red.” A color so rich, so bold, it feels untouched by time. Yet behind that beauty is a chilling truth—on that fateful day in 79 AD, when Mount Vesuvius erupted, everything changed within hours.
Imagine standing here… the ground trembling, the sky turning black, ash falling like deadly snow. This very floor witnessed panic, footsteps, voices—then… nothing.
And today, it remains. Perfect. Silent. Waiting.
A home once filled with life… now frozen between moments.
Would you dare to walk across it?

No esperes a tenerlo todo resuelto para vivir. Nunca lo tendrás del todo.
Vive el día que tienes delante como si fuera lo único que hay. Porque, en el fondo, lo es.
