Not like I have a lot of followers anyway, but if anyone cares I'm on the butterfly app now. Same username. I'll likely not check this one much anymore. #GetBentElon
This is not a campaign speech. It's a speech in front of a group of insurrectionist on January 6, 2021. The day of love.
This creature does not deserve to be a senator for the state of Texas.
Early Voting starts tomorrow, Monday, October 21
Florida is recovering from one hurricane while another is on the way.
-The Republican Governor is refusing to talk with the President to coordinate hurricane relief
-All Florida Republicans in Congress voted against supplemental disaster relief money for FEMA
-82 House Republicans, including 11 from Florida, voted to shut down the government, knowing a powerful hurricane was on its way
-The Republican-controlled House took a vacation for the month of August instead of passing a budget on time, which means no new FEMA budget
-The Republican Speaker of the House is refusing to reconvene Congress from their second month-long vacation to pass emergency supplemental funds for FEMA
-The Republican presidential nominee continually lies about the federal disaster response instead of making sure his voters have the correct information to receive help
-The Republican party wants to eliminate FEMA and NOAA (the agency that monitors, tracks, and predicts the path of hurricanes)
-The Republican Party refuses to acknowledge climate change while watching insurance companies leave Florida because increasingly stronger storms are making insurance claims too expensive to operate
Florida, why do you keep voting for the party that not only does nothing for you but actively works against your best interests?
Here's what I think is happening:
1. The media, with low ratings, saw blood in the water after the debate and ran with sensational and inaccurate headlines to generate profit. They have admitted this.
2. That, in turn, influenced big money dem donors who then threatened to pull their big money because the MEDIA was tanking some polls.
3. That, in turn, worried party leaders who need that big money to win because shitheads like Musk can donate $45M per month to trump thanks to Citizens United, and those dem leaders expressed their concern about losing that money.
4. That, in turn, caused the media - again with garbage ratings bleeding cash - to report that party leaders want Biden to step aside (not because they don't think he can do the job, but because other rich people were extorting them)
5. And that greed has led to the snowball effect we are seeing. It's all about money. Not democracy. The media and big donors are selling out democracy and the will of the voters over money.
Corporate media has failed us.
@Darthvince1@TJames1019 @ChiefRoms @DSR_F11 @curiosityonx The signal beamed from the telescope down to Earth is a data signal with error-correcting codes, and can be transmitted multiple times to verify. Completely different from light traveling in a vacuum across space. Your "logic" is silly to anyone with a basic knowledge of science.
@SteveMullenax @RouthierJim @jbfinvesting@RightWingCope You have it backwards. Here's the research from 2021 (I'd love to see an updated version, but this is what I found with a quick search): https://t.co/1tNSLUWywD
You may have heard the term “Project 2025” floating around, and you may even have cracked open the 900+ page document yourself, only to see a lot of kind of bland, policy-wonk text. So let me crack through the policy-speak and tell you WTF is in this document.
