I am also impressed that how similar human-animals and non-human animals are. According to "mourning" of TIME article, Non-human animals not only can recognize death, but also have the faith of "stubborn refusal to accept dead-is-dead" as well.

"Recovery" cannot just defined as the recovery of a population in specific area, which lacks consideration of genetic connectivity, (For example, YNP's wolf population was isolated.) causing inbreeding. Also inbreeding may further weakening connectivity.

I learned that the using of lethal control towards issue of wolves-livestock conflict may not be effective, even getting it worse, since removal of incorrect wolf will destroy social structure of a wolf pack, which leads to more killing of livestock.

that’s true! ecological corridors can protect a population from getting hurt in another areas. And probably I thought it’s good for genetic connectivity.

#39canimals Although creation of ecological corridors can cost some privately owned farmland, they stand out as they not only help elephants safely travel without conflict, but also help to give back some of their habitat while connecting protected areas. (1/2)
