I'm left to wonder how much of what makes this one sting was just Monty being a solid storyteller. I haven't seen names named yet, but there's an irrational need to know if what I saw there in the craft was real or just skillful grift. Storytelling is already so close to that...

The shit blowing up at RT isn't new, it's been endemic to internet culture since before RvB. It's been brought to light in org after org.

But with RWBY, in particular, there was content that reflected an awareness... The potential to do better. So this one's particularly sharp.
