The Audi RS2 Avant (produced from 1994 to 1995) is a legendary high-performance estate car and a watershed moment for Audi. As the very first vehicle to wear the iconic "RS" badge, it single-handedly established the concept of the super-wagon—blending everyday family practicality with supercar-shredding performance. 

The Porsche Connection

The RS2 was built as a joint venture between Audi and Porsche. While the body shells started on Audi's normal production line in Ingolstadt, they were shipped to Porsche's Rössle-Bau plant in Zuffenhausen (where the Mercedes-Benz 500E had previously been assembled) for final hand-assembly. 

Porsche didn't just badge the car; they heavily re-engineered it. Roughly 20% of the car features Porsche parts or bespoke design, including: 

Brakes: Porsche-badged Brembo calipers clamping down on heavy-duty ventilated discs. 

Wheels & Mirrors: Iconic 17-inch "Cup" wheels and aerodynamic side mirrors borrowed directly from the Porsche 964 Turbo. 

Interior Touches: Recaro sport bucket seats (often trimmed in rich leather and blue or silver Alcantara) and subtle Porsche script on the interior/exterior badging. 

Engine and Performance

Under the bonnet lies a heavily modified version of Audi’s legendary 2.2-litre turbocharged 20-valve inline-five cylinder engine (engine code ADU).

Porsche swapped out the standard turbocharger for a larger KKK unit, fitted a heavy-duty intercooler, redesigned the camshaft, upgraded fuel injectors, and added a low-restriction exhaust.

Ob komplimentu iz Rusije se je zato treba vprašati, kaj je dolžan njim? Kaj jim obljublja? In v čigavem interesu dela kot predsednik DZ? V interesu Slovenije, države, ki bi jo moral predstavljati - ali koga drugega?"
