"It brought back all the admiration I felt for AKB48 when I used to watch them on TV. I also used to rent DVDs to watch their MVs. I especially loved those set in schools, and I would imagine myself attending one of those schools, thinking, 'I wish I could go to that school!'

I'm usually quite nervous during MV shoots, but this time, all the members were having fun together. We were enjoying ourselves so much that there wasn't even time to feel tired.

The moment we caught sight of the lighthouse was especially exciting. Even while filming the scenes on the grass in front of the lighthouse, I was so moved, thinking, 'This is the scene I used to watch!'.

Just as the AKB48 of 20 years ago made their Major Debut with 'Aitakatta' and went on to expand their horizons, I hope that today's AKB48 can also make a fresh start with 'Aitakatta 2026'"
